What About Brian: What About the Tangled Web
(S02E10) This was the type of episode that originally drew me to What About Brian. It was fast-paced, all the stories intertwined, and it was laugh out loud funny on more than one occasion. It's a good thing too because had this episode not been so good, and I was planning on not reviewing it anymore. This one has me hooked again and believe it or not, it had nothing to do with the cliffhanger.Project Greenlight movie heading to DVD quickly
Did anyone out there watch the third season of Project Greenlight on Bravo? I really enjoyed this show, but ratings for the most recent season were so-so at best, which means that we probably won't see a fourth season of the show. But fans have been waiting for Feast, the horror film from the last season directed by John Gulager and starring Balthazar Getty, Krista Allen, and Navi Rawat, to be released, but there has always been some delay from the Weinstein Company for a variety of reasons, and several dates announced as release dates have come and gone.
But the movie is heading to DVD on October 17. Sure, the movie will have it's premiere in Las Vegas on September 12, and will be seen in limited release on September 22 and 23 (late night showings only), but this is still basically a straight-to-DVD release, only with a twist.
I guess this is better than never seeing the movie at all. And fans might be happy that the film will be available on DVD so quickly (well, so quick after the theatrical run, not quickly in general).
Project Greenlight flick finally has a release date
It's been soooo long since I saw the third season of Bravo's Project Greenlight that I completely forgot that they haven't even released the movie yet. But our friends at Cinematical report that Feast, the horror movie directed by John Gulager and starring Balthazar Getty, Krista Allen, and Navi Rawat, will finally be released on September 22.The movie's release was held up for many, many months because of various behind the scenes legal wranglings involving Miramax. The film is co-produced by Chris Moore, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon.
