Candace Cameron (Bure) returning to television on Make It or Break It tonight
We all watched her grow up on Full House and then we watched her disappear from our television screens, seemingly forever. I don't know if I'll go so far as to say Candace Cameron was to the early '90s what Alyssa Milano was to the late '80s, but that's because I'll be forever loyal to my boyhood crush on Samantha Micelli. But while Milano has been on the airwaves virtually every season since the question of Who's the Boss? was answered when the network canceled it, not so for Cameron. She got married and went off to raise her kids for ten years, giving us only a few appearances in that time. Now 33 and ready to get back to work full time, Candace Cameron Bure will be one of the stars in ABC Family's gymnastic-themed Make It or Break It, premiering tonight at 9pm ET.

'Kyle XY'(9PM, ABC Family) series finale
He has no belly button, and after tonight, poor Kyle will have no primetime home, either.
Yep, it's the end of the line for the teenage superhero, as the third season finale also serves as the show's series ender. At least fans will get an action-packed send-off, though, as Kyle finds out what Cassidy and Latnok have planned for the future of Adam Baylin's experiment – they plan to go into overdrive on making lots and lots of Kyle and Jessi-like super kiddies.
Kyle, understandably, is against the pod-hatching plot, and enlists the Tragers and pals Declan and Amanda to help him. Now if they can only find out where the secret Latnok pod factory is located ...
TV Squad Ten: TV DILFs
I think I'm getting old. I realized this last season while watching an episode of Kyle XY. Matt Dallas, who plays Kyle himself, and his baby blues weren't doing anything for me. Chris Olivero (Declan) and his hunky jock thing didn't excite me either. I turned to my husband, mildly horrified when it hit me: "Honey, the hottest guy on this show is the dad!"When my husband shook off his case of the giggles, he gently reminded me that the dad was, actually, closer to my age than the teenage boys. True, but I am so not as old as that dad... but I do think he's hot.
In fact, there have been a lot of hot dads, let's call them DILFs, on TV in recent years. Gives us oldies some eye candy too, I suppose. So, in descending order (yep, you've got to wait until the end for the super-hotties):
What to Watch Monday, Feb. 16
'24'(9PM, Fox)
Oh, it's on! We're a third of the way through season eight, and Jack and Girl Jack (that's FBI Agent Renee Walker) are still on the trail of terrorists in the nation's capitol.
Meanwhile, the First Family is dealing with the fallout of their son's murder, the First Gentleman's kidnapping and a new crisis with the First Daughter; and tonight sees the inevitable smackdown between computer geeks Chloe and FBI-er Janis Gold (Janeane Garofalo).
The paranoid Ms. Gold gets under uber-techie Chloe's skin when she blocks some much needed access to government files, and let's just say that now that Chloe's a mommy, you really dont want to tick her off.

'Kyle XY'(9PM, ABC Family) 3rd season premiere
Prom night ... it wasn't 'Carrie,' but it certainly didn't end the way Kyle hoped it would in last season's finale. He and girlfriend Amanda admitted they're in love, but then she disappeared, and Kyle's only clue was a Latnok ring left in her absence.
Tonight, the heroic, no-belly button-havin' teen awakens in a strange place and finds himself in a Latnok showdown in which Kyle learns a lot more about that group's plans for him, and just how far they've gone to carry out those plans.
Meanwhile, Kyle and Amanda weren't the only ones who survived the school dance drama, as their pals Declan, Lori, Josh and Andy are also dealing will their actions on prom night.
Kyle XY gets an early premiere courtesy of the Superinfonetweb
Damn the TCA's, screw billboards and to hell with magazine advertising! Slowly, ever so slowly, TV networks are beginning to realize that the Internet is the way to go to promote new and ongoing shows. The ways I mentioned above, those are the Stone Age, man. The newfangled World Wide Web is how their shows are going to become hits.
Case in point: the season 3 premiere of Kyle XY. While it's network television premiere is next Monday on ABC Family, you denizens of the technological world can see it over at Fancast right now. Heck, you can't even see it on ABC Family's website -- those primitives. For the interested, this is the conclusion to the season two cliffhanger that left Kyle searching for the abducted Amanda.
Look, if you are one of those people who like to stay one step ahead of everyone else, get your butt over to Fancast and watch the premiere. Then, you can let all of your commoner friends know what happened. Just make sure you limber up first because you are sure to be chased by fans of the show after you reveal all the spoilers.

My Top 10 list is better than Sci Fi Wire's
Let's face it, science fiction on television is always a challenge, and more often than not, these series fail to find a big enough audience to stick around. That's why the year after Lost hit it big on just minor sci-fi elements, we had three ratings flops at once with Invasion, Threshold and Surface. And all three were good, for different reasons. So my question is why did none of them make Sci Fi Wire's list of the top 10 sci fi shows canceled too soon? Because Sci-Fi Wire liked Eerie, Indiana better!Seriously though, while there were some good elements in their list, and I absolutely agree with their number one choice, there were some real problems and omissions as well. Wonderfalls ranked way too high and Homeboys in Outer Space didn't even make the list? Outrageous! So I've taken it upon myself to make my own list of The Top 10 Sci Fi Short-Lived Sci-Fi Shows That Weren't Pulitzer Worthy But Went Great With Popcorn. And I intentionally didn't include any of the shows on their list, because I'm acting like a spoiled brat and I don't want to play with their toys.

Kyle XY: The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades

(S02E15) The few people who commented last week seemed to think that episode was pretty disappointing. Man, I hate to think what you thought this week.
It's not that this episode was a stinker, mind you. We did have some advancement with Kyle's and Jessie's powers, which of course could lead to some pretty cool future episodes. But tonight I felt like I was watching more of an after-school special, which is weird unless you're attending night school.
Kyle XY: To C.I.R., With Love

(S02E14) For the past few months I've been working to catch up with this show, and over the weekend I finally caught up. I'm surprised at how much this show seems to have fallen under the radar, because it really is quite well done. It's got the sci-fi aspect to it, likable characters and spares us long waits for answers. I've got a few issues with it, but overall it's extremely entertaining.
This was an oddly placed episode. The last episode was in September, and while it ended with a cliffhanger (actually, literally), I think tonight's episode would have served better in September than now. It felt almost like a season ender, didn't it?
