Newly crowned 'America's Got Talent' winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. stopped by 'Good Day LA' (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox) to talk about winning the $1 million prize. So what's the first big, crazy purchase Murphy is planning? Health insurance. Then, college funds for his three kids."This means the world to my family," said Murphy. "I got behind a lot in my life, you know? And this, 'America's Got Talent' gave me the opportunity to make all of those things right again. I don't have health insurance right now, so I'm just ready to go out and get that and pay for my kids' college."

Cliché as it sounds, there were only winners on last night's 'America's Got Talent' Season 6 finale.Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., as judge Howie Mandel accurately predicted on Tuesday's performance show, won the competition and the show's $1 million prize. "I am the great predictor," Mandel quips.
Dance group Silhouettes came in second. Dance group Team iLuminate was third. Rock band POPLYFE came in fourth, but you'd never know it by the jubilation they were feeling after the show. The band members were still ecstatic over getting to perform with the legendary Stevie Wonder, an experience they'll take with them forever.
"I'll take it with me as well," Wonder told AOL TV on the post show press line. "They are a group that is committed to staying together and not letting anyone break them apart. I feel that's how we should be as a nation. I'm excited that they allowed me to be a part of their group."
'America's Got Talent' Backstage Report: Is Piers Morgan Really a Big Softie?

There were technical difficulties during the performance finale of 'America's Got Talent.' Some backstage doors wouldn't open, which prevented stage hands from removing PopLyfe's set and setting the stage for the Silhouettes.Producers filled the air time with a pre-taped video segment featuring past auditions while things were corrected. By the time they were, the video segment showing insight into the Silhouettes had to be cut for time.
Those video segments usually feature touching stories about the acts, endearing them to viewers (and voters) in the process.
Will the Silhouettes lose votes and suffer because their segment wasn't shown?
