Kelly CutroneThe 'America's Next Top Model' judging panel is undergoing another shakeup.

Fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone, former 'Hills' and Bravo star and owner of People's Revolution, will replace 'Vogue' editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley as one of the regular judges on the CW reality competition, according to People.

Starting next season, the woman formerly known as Lauren Conrad's terrifying but ultimately awesome boss will help decide who is still in the running to become America's Next Top Model. Lauren Conrad Forgot Her Manuscript Was Due on 'Chelsea Lately' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 7th 2011 6:20AM
Lauren Conrad, 'Chelsea Lately'After a successful trilogy of fiction novels loosely based on her own experiences, Lauren Conrad is hard at work on a spin-off trilogy. She may be in trouble with her publisher, though, as she apparently realized her first manuscript was due during her interview on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!).

Either she missed her deadline, or rushed home to get the manuscript in. Either way, the book promises to be just as popular as her first trilogy, though with a different perspective.

"The character is someone who instead of kind of being victimized by this whole thing," Conrad said of the new main character, who was a supporting character in the original series, "[She] manipulates the media ... She calls her own paparazzi, leaks her own stories."

by Chris Harnick, posted Feb 4th 2011 5:45PM
Arrested DevelopmentCould the mythical 'Arrested Development' movie get off the ground and make it to a theater near you this year? That's what creator Mitch Hurwitz seems to think.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Hurwitz said the movie plans are in motion.

"We've started that process and it is our sincere hope to shoot it this year and get it out this year," Hurwitz said. "That's what we're hoping, but a lot of things have to fall into place for that to happen."

That's what we've been hoping for years, Mitch. For now, let's just file this as another chapter in the ongoing saga of a movie that will probably never get made.

Lauren Conrad Tells Chelsea Handler What Silly Bandz Really Mean (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Oct 14th 2010 9:10AM
Lauren Conrad Talks Silly Bandz on 'Chelsea Lately'She's only 24 years old, but Lauren Conrad may be getting to that age when it's hard to keep up with the rapidly changing trends among teenagers. At book signings, fans would give her friendship bracelets and Silly Bandz (those seemingly innocent silicon bracelets that come in a variety of shapes). Conrad thought they were "cute" and sweet, so she wore them for a recent photo shoot.

She was gingerly told that the accessory had been banned from schools "because kids were trading them for sexy favors ... [and wearing them] to show what you did," Conrad said on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!). "It's like advertising [fooling around]." Suffice to say, the bracelets weren't worn for the photos. The host was as surprised as Conrad. "We used to have to lie! ... Now it's like ... 'Look what I did!?'"

How Blogs Changed TV: For Your Consideration, 'The Hills'

by Stephanie Earp, posted Jul 20th 2010 11:32PM

'The Hills' is over and for fans of the show, it's a time of sadness. A time when they feel they are saying good-bye to old friends, sort of like those bittersweet days before you go off on a fake trip to Europe. Of course, they'll see each other again -- on shows like 'The City', 'The Audrina Show' and the rumored Brody Jenner spin-off. But it's not the fans that interest me right now, it's the rest of us. Those of us who saw nary a one of the 102 episodes of the MTV show, and yet could easily pick a dozen of these kids out of a line-up.

Kathy Griffin Spoofs 'Hills' When Lauren Conrad Visits 'D-List'Lauren Conrad, ex-cast member of 'Laguna Beach' and 'The Hills' drops by 'Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List' (Tue., 10PM ET on BRVO) to help Kathy Griffin's mother Maggie pick fabric for some moo-moos. But what starts as an innocent favor becomes, for Kathy, some petty drama perfect for a scene from the comedienne's "The Hills Adjacent."

Maggie and Lauren really hit it off, and Kathy gets jealous. When she suggests they all go to lunch, Maggie and Lauren have already made plans together -- and Lauren's car is only a "two-seater."

Later, in an interview on the "show," Kathy feigns hurt feelings: "I just feel like my mom doesn't get me. I just feel like LC brings so much drama ... Turns out that I'm Stephanie Pratt, and my mother is Audrina. So unfair."

'The Hills' Final Season Trailer: Drugs, Plastic Surgery and New Romances

by Chris Harnick, posted Mar 30th 2010 2:40PM
The HillsAll good things must come to an end, even 'The Hills.'

Ladies and gentlemen, what we have here is the trailer for the final season of the MTV reality hit.

We've watched them love, live and grow -- and in Heidi Montag's case get loads of plastic surgery. This trailer opens with footage from simple times, times before plastic surgery and sex tape rumors. That alone was enough to make us nostalgic for the days of Whitney and Lauren sitting around the offices of Teen Vogue, but then -- BAM! -- new footage that got us excited (don't judge).

MTV Cancels Fake Reality Show 'The Hills'

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 25th 2010 12:45PM
SpeidiShow of hands, who is mourning the cancellation of MTV's 'The Hills?' Yup, the network has finally canceled the reality show that wasn't really a reality show. The final season starts on April 27.

I think the only bad part about this cancellation is now that cast members like Heidi and Spencer won't be filming the show anymore that means they'll have time to make appearances on other shows. So MTV, maybe you shouldn't cancel this show after all. We need them to stay on the show so we have a better chance of avoiding them. Besides, Heidi needs cash for that eleventh plastic surgery I'm sure she wants to have.

'The Hills' Is Dunzo After This Season

by Kim Potts, posted Mar 25th 2010 9:15AM
How will the hipsters of Los Angeles know which hot clubs to frequent now? EW.com exclusively reports that MTV reality series 'The Hills' will end its six-season run this summer.

"I think we've told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A.," 'Hills' creator Adam DiVello says. "A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths."

The show, a spin-off of another MTV reality hit, 'Laguna Beach,' gets credit (blame?) for unleashing not only Lauren Conrad on pop culture, but also the ubiquitous TMZ fixtures that are Audrina Patridge, Spencer Pratt and his newly-plasticized wife, Heidi Montag.

In fact, the first episode of the final season (premiering Apr. 27) will focus on Montag, as she heads back to her Colorado hometown to reveal her drastic (and much maligned by fans and the media) plastic surgery makeover to her mother.

Audrina Patridge Returning to 'The Hills'

by Rebecca Paiement, posted Dec 8th 2009 1:00PM
'The Hills' is returning for another season on MTV -- and now, so is co-star Audrina Patrdige.

This week, a representative for Patridge told US Magazine that she can "officially confirm that [the reality star] will appear in the sixth season of 'The Hills.'" This comes after weeks of negotiations and back-and-forths with MTV about Partridge's supposed upcoming spin-off.

In a May interview on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, Patridge said that she was planning to leave 'The Hills,' the reality show that made her famous, to set out on her own. Apparently, MTV had gifted Patridge a series akin to co-star Whitney Port's 'The City.'
