If you recognize Nik Wallenda's last name from somewhere, it's because he's the seventh generation of the family of circus performers known as the Flying Wallendas. Wednesday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), Wallenda talked about making his own mark with his high wire act, which is featured on the new Discovery Channel show, 'Life On a Wire.'Wallenda performs some breathtaking stunts, like a high wire walk of more than 2,000 feet and riding a bicycle across the wire. On the show, Wallenda wears a camera for all of his stunts.
"That's one of the exciting things about 'Life On a Wire' is that the viewers actually get to see what I'm seeing," he said, "which is a new thing. No one's ever been able to actually see the angles."
