Big New House For Little Hailey on 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 17th 2011 3:30AM
'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' - 'The Korpai Family'This week, Ty Pennington and the 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' (Sun., 8PM ET on ABC) took on a task very close to the heart for Amy and Matt Roloff ('Little People Big World'). The Korpai family have a five-year old daughter, Hailey, with dwarfism, but their house is hardly suitable for her needs.

The Roloffs undertook a similar renovation on their farm to make the kitchen and other areas of the house more user-friendly for little people. So the design team stopped by Roloff farms for some inspiration, and invited Matt back to help with the build. Bill Klein and Jen Arnold ('The Little Couple') got involved as well, as this was more than just a rebuild of a house.

by Elizabeth Chan, posted Sep 7th 2010 9:00AM
Little People, Big World Season 3 DVDMatt and Amy Roloff showed the world through their TLC show 'Little People Big World' that the realities of little people are not so different from the rest of us. 'Little People, Big World' to End After 6 Seasons

by Rich Keller, posted Aug 27th 2010 1:30PM
'Little People, Big World'Viewers have tuned in to watch the trials and tribulations of the Roloff family for five seasons of TLC's 'Little People, Big World.' During that time they've watched Matt and Amy Roloff, a married couple who are both little people, and their four children -- the average-sized Jacob, Molly and Jeremy and little person Zach -- deal with daily life on the massive Roloff Farms and in the average-sized outside world.

Now, those times are coming to an end. In a press release distributed late Thursday evening, TLC confirmed that the sixth season of 'Little People, Big World' will be its last.

Matt Roloff Talks 'Little People, Big World'

by Jane Boursaw, posted Jun 29th 2010 3:00PM
Matt RoloffIf you watched the finale of 'Little People, Big World,' you might have wondered how Matt Roloff is doing after his shocking collapse. Well, he's alive and well and doing great! Turns out it was a bad case of vertigo -- not a heart attack, as some viewers suspected.

TV Squad caught up with Roloff, who talked to us about what life has been like since the finale.

So my first question is, how are you doing?
I'm doing fine. It caught us by surprise, how much attention this thing got. It's funny, because we don't really watch the episodes [as they air]. We saw a rough cut months ago, but we put it out of our mind and never thought about it. I was off traveling to New York and doing my thing, and I'm getting on the airplane coming home, and people are like, "Oh, man, good to see you." And I'm like, "What? Why?" And they're like, "Everybody is saying you were dead!" But I'm here to tell you that I'm definitely alive and well.

TLC Renews 'Little People, Big World' for Season 6

by Rich Keller, posted Jun 15th 2010 9:40AM
'Little People, Big World' has been renewed for a sixth seasonHot off their season finale, Cynopsis is reporting that TLC has renewed 'Little People, Big World' for a sixth season. This, despite rampant Internet rumors that father Matt Roloff suffered a heart attack or died.

Originally a series of specials on TLC, 'Little People' focuses on little people Matt and Amy Roloff and their four children -- three normal-sized and one little person. Over the last five seasons the show has dealt with issues the couple had living in a world of bigger people, as well as the daily operations of Matt's various projects, including maintenance of Roloff Farms. It has also focused on the Roloff children, as they have grown up and moved on to high school and college.

TLC Renews 'The Little Couple,' Their Best "Little" Show

by Joel Keller, posted Feb 23rd 2010 3:02PM
Jen Arnold and Bill Klein of 'The Little Couple' on TLCA couple of weeks ago, I joked that Discovery Networks seems to have every little person in America under contract for a reality show. They do seem to be fascinated with the lives of people with dwarfism, aren't they?

The company's various channels have explored primordial dwarfism, followed a little couple as they adopted an Eastern European baby with dwarfism, and followed a third little couple during the wife's pregnancy. They've also decided to build a series around a little couple who own a chocolate shop in Salt Lake City ('The Little Chocolatiers') and a little person who rescues pit bulls ('Pit Boss'). And the family who started TLC down this road, the Roloffs, are still cranking out episodes of 'Little People, Big World.'

Of all these shows, I've always liked 'The Little Couple' the best. I'm not sure if it's because it's so unrelentingly normal or that Bill Klein and Jen Arnold make such a charming couple. Either way, it's good to hear that TLC has renewed the show for a third season.
