Lost Easter egg hunt: Catch-22
by Erin Martell, posted Apr 23rd 2007 7:27PM
"Catch-22" brought a new character to the island and gave fans plenty of new Easter eggs to discuss. Some clues were conventional, others were a bit unusual. Desmond-centric episodes are always good for a few Easter eggs, so let's get started!
Backwards Speech: Check out this post for a sound clip that features a backwards message. In one of Desmond's psychic flashes, you can hear Hurley saying "Can you hear me?" in reverse.
A Familiar Language: Naomi, the mysterious woman who landed on the island, had a Portugese copy of Joseph Heller's Catch-22. This could be an indication that Naomi works for Penny, since the two men who called Penny in "Live Together, Die Alone" spoke Portugese.
