  • The title of the season's ninth episode is "The Shape of Things to Come."
  • We will learn more about the Black Rock and the four-toed statue, but not necessarily in a flashback.
  • The name Lapidus has appeared twice on Lost. Rick Lapidus' name was on the script in "Exposé," and Frank Lapidus is the name of the helicopter pilot this season. Writer Eddie Kitsis (who wrote "Exposé") loves the name, and wanted to use it on the show.

  • The Looking Glass station was included in Kelvin's blast door map, but not by name.
  • Many fans have wondered why Desmond and Charlie didn't simply cut the cable that led to the Looking Glass station. It is possible that the cable is not the station's only source of power, and it may not even function as a power source.

Kevin Tighe as Anthony CooperThis week's Lost audio podcast featured more hints and teases than real answers. Since it's close to the season finale, hosts Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse only gave fans indications of what to expect in the next three weeks. They did manage to review "The Brig," preview "The Man Behind The Curtain," and answer fan questions, however. Here's a quick recap:

  • The writers knew for several seasons that Anthony Cooper was the original Sawyer. They actually thought it had become fairly obvious.
  • Lindelof and Cuse were tight-lipped about "The Man Behind The Curtain," but mentioned that we will learn much more about Ben and Jacob. Richard Alpert will also be seen next week.

M.C. GaineyThis week's Lost audio podcast was one of the best ever, mostly due to M.C. Gainey's short interview.
