Lost death pool update: Week fifteen
I had waited until "Greatest Hits" aired to post another death pool update because I thought we would learn what had happened to Locke. I could not have been more wrong. Ben mentioned Locke's "accident" briefly, but our favorite bald man failed to make an appearance. The highly anticipated Charlie death didn't even happen! Death pool participants don't have long to wait, however. Something tells me that this week's Others-815ers showdown will have some major casualties.Lost death pool update: Week thirteen
"The Brig" featured one of the biggest deaths of Season Three. The only problem? No one picked this person in the death pool! It's not that surprising, given the fact that "TS" was strictly a flashback character when the pool started. Those hoping to catch up to the current leaders still have some hope. Rumor has it that death will strike again before the season is over.
In the meantime, last week's point totals remain in place. Mikhail will appear in this week's episode, "The Man Behind The Curtain," so we might get a few answers about his presence among the living. If you haven't already, check out this post about MSNBC's Lost death odds. Some of your picks got the thumbs up (Charlie, Desmond), while others were listed as long shots (Kate, Ben). The MSNBC article was right about last week's death, so it may be worth reading.
Good luck this week for "The Man Behind The Curtain"!
Lost death pool update: Week eleven
Charlie cheated death yet again! Of all the possible Charlie death scenarios so far, the arrow in the neck is my favorite. If he keeps this up, Charlie will risk being compared to Kenny from South Park. I have more news from last week's update about a certain guest star, but I will save that for after the jump.
Chris Wyant, April, and ts are still in the top spots. Alex, bbf203, BlackViking, darciedyan, Ed W., Gregory Capobianco, Holli, Hubba, jks, Kat, Kenneth Chong, Kristi Parry, Lauren, Michael, PlusDrew, Priscilla, RedStarRevolution, and Tracy are close behind. For a complete list of death pool standings, please refer to the post for Week Eight.

Lost death pool update: Week ten
(Spoiler Warning for those who have not seen "One of Us") Another quiet week on the Lost island! No deaths this time around, but there are plenty of episodes left. Juliet's claim about the island's effect on mothers could mean that Sun is danger. Another upcoming episode features a guest star that could shake things up in the death pool. Keep reading after the jump for a review of possible death pool scenarios!
For now, the standings have not changed. Chris Wyant, April, and ts are the front runners. Alex, bbf203, BlackViking, darciedyan, Ed W., Gregory Capobianco, Holli, Hubba, jks, Kat, Kenneth Chong, Kristi Parry, Lauren, Michael, PlusDrew, Priscilla, RedStarRevolution, and Tracy are still holding their own. The next few weeks could bring some serious changes to the pool. Read on!
Lost death pool update: Week six
The death pool gets more interesting with each new episode. "Par Avion" featured another unexpected death, and a few pool participants have moved ahead of the pack as a result. I will wait to name names until after the jump, but I can say that this death qualifies for the "awesome death" bonus points. The death scene was so cool that I actually watched it a couple of times.
Two people marked this person for death, so no one receives double points this time around. The final total for this week is 21 points (5 for a correct pick, 11 episode points, and 5 bonus points for a cool death). Check out the updated pool standings and death specifics below. Stop reading now if you want to avoid "Par Avion" episode spoilers.
Lost death pool update: Week five
Another one bites the dust! After all of the death teases in the last few episodes, I thought we might have to wait until the final episodes of the season for another death. Fortunately, this was not the case. In "Enter 77," a familiar character from Season Two returned, only to be killed in a dramatic standoff. I will not name names until after the jump, but some fans found the death to be too convenient.
I can think of at least one fan for whom this death was a blessing, however. Only one death pool participant picked this character, which makes the pick worth twice the points. All told, the death is worth 34 points: 5 points for a correct pick, 12 episode points, and double points for a unique pick. Check out the standings and death specifics below. If you have not seen "Enter 77" yet and want to remain unspoiled, stop reading.
Lost death pool update: Week four
In keeping with the light nature of the Hurley flashbacks, no characters died in "Tricia Tanaka is Dead" (except for Tricia Tanaka, of course). Her bizarre death would have been worth a lot of points, actually! This means that Week One's leader board still stands. After hearing about the upcoming Charlie flashback, however, keep looking for a possible Charlie death.
The following people remain in first place with 21 points: Alex, Andrew, April, bbf203, Brody, Chris Wyant, Craig, darciedyan, Diana, Don, Dustin, Gina, Gregory Capobianco, Holli, Hubba, jks, John S., Kat, Kenneth Chong, Kris Clark, Kristi Parry, Lauren, mgamark, michou2880, Morgan, nandy, PlusDrew, Priscilla, RedStarRevolution, Sam, Stephanie, Thomas Cushard, Tracy, ts, TuckerKatt, and TVblogger.
Good luck this week!
Lost death pool update: Week two
Unfortunately for death pool participants, nobody died during the "Flashes Before Your Eyes" episode of Lost. There may have been some good news for entrants who marked Charlie for death, however. Will Charlie's supposedly inevitable death come soon, or will the writers drag out the suspense into next season? Either way, below are some possible points scenarios for those who did (and did not) pick Charlie.TV Squad Hot Topics
