What to Watch: March 22 - 28

by Stephanie Earp, posted Mar 22nd 2010 2:41AM

Cougar Town
- Wednesday March 24, 9:30 pm, Citytv/ABC

Sheryl Crow guest stars as a wine rep who sets her sights on Grayson. A wine rep, for those who aren't sure, is someone who lubricates the sales of wine to restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. It usually involves charm, some wine knowledge and an ability to hold one's liquor. They have so absolutely nailed the general feeling of the show with this choice of occupation that I think they should start over with the show and call it 'The Wine Reps' and make Jules and Ellie wine reps too. The leaks split fans into those who just had to watch the footage and those who refused to be spoiled, sparking up new debate over the proper role of the Web in today's multimedia world. But was the footage actually leaked? Or was ABC simply trying to beat the Internet at its own game?

If you're a fan of Lost and you can actually wrap your head around all of the show's twists and turns without your head exploding, this should make for a tasty appetizer.

The trailer for the show's final season, which starts Feb. 2, has hit the web and it seems to be one action packed mother. If only every episode came with one of those in-screen translators who can explain everything that's going on so simpletons like me can also enjoy it.
