Luke Wilson Needs Cesar: Dog's Antics Costing Him Thousands (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Jul 28th 2010 8:40AM
'Late Show': Luke Wilson Has a Devilish DogCesar Millan, where are you? Two celebs are in desperate need of your Dog Whispering expertise. Luke Wilson's Australian Cattle Dog has "ruined" his life, he said on the 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

The dog chewed a closed door and bit a poodle. "It was 14 years old -- the poodle -- and had its own cardiologist," said Wilson. "I'm serious -- it sounds like a Woody Allen thing, but it's true." As a consequence, the ER bill was thousands of dollars.

David Letterman said DNA testing has revealed that his dog is "part yellow lab, part Satan." The canine is "so very cute, but I mean, honest to God, I am tired of having my flesh shredded."

by Chris Harnick, posted Mar 31st 2010 12:10PM
Late Show with David LettermanIs David Letterman obsessed with Tracy Morgan? Last week, he grilled Tina Fey on her '30 Rock' costar, the result was this gem of a clip. Last night he turned his questions on Luke Wilson on 'Late Show With David Letterman' (11:35PM ET on CBS).

"He's a real force of nature," Wilson said. The duo were riding around in a picture car, waiting to shoot a scene and Morgan was getting numbers from girls on the street.

"At one point I said, 'Tracy, I think they're ready to shoot this' ... and he said, 'Lou,' and I said, 'It's Luke.' He said 'Lou ... I'm a pervert,'" Wilson said.

Tracy Morgan stories make for good TV.

Luke Wilson and Diane Ladd joining the cast of Enlightened

by Brad Trechak, posted Jan 4th 2010 8:07AM
Luke Wilson and Diane LaddHave you heard that Laura Dern is starring in a new HBO comedy called Enlightened? Of course you have. What might be news is that both Luke Wilson and Diane Ladd are joining the cast of the same show.

Dern plays a self-destructive character named Amy who tries to clean up her own life. Ladd is Laura Dern's real-life mother and she's best cast as, a drum roll please, Amy's mother. This is an example of art imitating life. Of course, since the pair have already done movies and television together (including a dual Academy Award nomination for Rambling Rose, they're probably used to each other by now.

Wilson plays Amy's drug-abusing ex-husband. His last television appearance was a recurring role on That 70's Show. This is a step down from his usual movie roles (such as the under-appreciated Idiocracy). However, this is definitely a step up from his recent AT&T commercials.

Cast of Dallas movie split

by Adam Finley, posted Oct 13th 2006 6:56PM
dallasThe planned movie remake of the hit '80s primetime soap Dallas has encountered numerous road blocks on its slow crawl to production. Jennifer Garner said no to role of Pam Ewing, then Jennifer Lopez, who was set to play Sue Ellen, dropped out of the project. Meg Ryan came in to take her place, but she has also left the project, along with Shirley MacLaine and Luke Wilson. That leaves John "JR Ewing" Travolta as the only one left out of the main cast. Apparently focus groups only liked the JR character, and director Gurinder Chadha was not happy with the casting choices. The abandoned roles will be recast, but it's not clear whether Chadha will stay with the project. Sounds to me like it might be time to put this particular dog to sleep for good and start working on a movie people really want to see: an animated version of Falcon Crest.

Rainn Wilson prominently featured in new movie trailer

by Anna Johns, posted Jun 26th 2006 8:36AM
rainn wilsonThere's a teaser for My Super Ex-Girlfriend currently airing on television that gives Rainn Wilson as much face time as big-name stars Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson. Rainn plays Luke Wilson's nerdy buddy who gives him all sorts of relationship advice. I think I saw it the other night during reruns of The Office and My Name is Earl, which makes sense. But still, that's pretty cool for Rainn. 20th Century Fox obviously thinks he has enough fans as Dwight Schrute on The Office that he'll be the reason (some) people go to the movie. The movie hits theaters July 21.

Knowing that Rainn Wilson is in the movie... is that reason enough for you to plop down $10?
