Luke Wilson Talks Picking Up Women With Tracy Morgan (VIDEO)
by Chris Harnick, posted Mar 31st 2010 12:10PM
Is David Letterman obsessed with Tracy Morgan? Last week, he grilled Tina Fey on her '30 Rock' costar, the result was this gem of a clip. Last night he turned his questions on Luke Wilson on 'Late Show With David Letterman' (11:35PM ET on CBS)."He's a real force of nature," Wilson said. The duo were riding around in a picture car, waiting to shoot a scene and Morgan was getting numbers from girls on the street.
"At one point I said, 'Tracy, I think they're ready to shoot this' ... and he said, 'Lou,' and I said, 'It's Luke.' He said 'Lou ... I'm a pervert,'" Wilson said.
Tracy Morgan stories make for good TV.

Luke Wilson and Diane Ladd joining the cast of Enlightened

Have you heard that Laura Dern is starring in a new HBO comedy called Enlightened? Of course you have. What might be news is that both Luke Wilson and Diane Ladd are joining the cast of the same show.Dern plays a self-destructive character named Amy who tries to clean up her own life. Ladd is Laura Dern's real-life mother and she's best cast as, a drum roll please, Amy's mother. This is an example of art imitating life. Of course, since the pair have already done movies and television together (including a dual Academy Award nomination for Rambling Rose, they're probably used to each other by now.
Wilson plays Amy's drug-abusing ex-husband. His last television appearance was a recurring role on That 70's Show. This is a step down from his usual movie roles (such as the under-appreciated Idiocracy). However, this is definitely a step up from his recent AT&T commercials.
