Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb Feud Cancels 'Brady Bunch' Reunion

by Danny Gallagher, posted Mar 1st 2010 8:00PM
The Brady Bunch opening All of the Brady kids were supposed to make a grand reunion on 'Today' this morning, but an old sibling rivalry prevented the magic from happening.

Eve Plumb and Maureen McCormick
, who played Jan and Marcia respectively on 'The Brady Bunch,' haven't been getting along. When the two learned they would have to share the same stage with each other for more than five minutes, the whole thing broke down.

Some blame the feud over McCormick's seedy tell-all book in which she alleges the two had feelings for each other, but others say the feud goes back much further.

Growing up Brady with sex and drugs

by Brad Trechak, posted Oct 13th 2008 1:07PM
The Brady BunchMaureen McCormick a.k.a. the Original Marcia Brady is releasing her very own tell-all book, Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, which hits stores tomorrow. It seems that celebrity created for her the usual spiral of drugs and sex and sex-for-drugs as it does for so many other child stars.

I find it interesting how her story contrasts the book released by Barry "Greg Brady" Williams, which I have read. Williams basically described some awkward situations for himself and some marijuana use but never did he describe any of the Brady kids sinking so low. I recall his last line of the book saying that there "wasn't a bad banana in the Bunch".

I wonder if this inconsistency is going to cause conflict between the two Brady ex-child stars (and former boyfriend and girlfriend). It could lead to an episode of Celebrity Boxing. Christopher Knight can be the guest referee, if he can drag himself away from Trivial Pursuit.

Maureen McCormick admits she was a coke addict

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 23rd 2007 4:02PM

Maureen McCormickI'm sorry, but the line that keeps going through my head is "Oh my nose! Oh my nose!"

Former Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick (aka Marcia Brady) has admitted that not only was she bulimic after the show ended in 1974 and she went back to high school, but that the guy she was dating at the time introduced her to cocaine. She says that she became an addict because of her addictive personality, and actually went through several relapses before getting clean through "therapy and faith." I sense a book coming from this.

Good for her for getting through it, but she should have listened to mom, because mom always said, don't do coke in the house.
