'Glee' Preview: Listen to the Full 'Thriller' / 'Heads Will Roll' Mashup at Last!
by Jean Bentley, posted Jan 31st 2011 11:40AM
With just six days left until the highly anticipated 'Glee' Super Bowl episode (eeeee!), it's about time the powers that be released some of the music.Today, PopEater has the exclusive premiere of the 'Thriller' / 'Heads Will Roll' mashup, which combines the Michael Jackson classic with Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 2009 hit. YYYs paid homage to 'Thriller' for their own 'Heads Will Roll' video, so the connection isn't completely out of left field. Plus, both songs feature creepy organ music that the 'Glee' gang turned into a fun, poppy dance beat.
Head over to PopEater for the exclusive premiere of the track, plus details on your chance to win a prize pack that includes four 'Glee' soundtrack volumes and Michael Jackson's 'Vision.'
Listen All of Y'all, This is 'Battlestar Galactica'

Mash-ups are always an invitation to a good time, but this one is particular fun because it actually matches its counterpart particularly well. They either have a surgically implanted eagle's eyes or more time on their hands than Father Time.
Some crazed genius media nut out there has combined the shoot-em-up goodness of 'Battlestar Galactica' with the shoot-em-up goodness of the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage."

What happens when you combine Star Trek and Mad Men?
by Bob Sassone, posted Dec 31st 2009 4:06PM

Some of these "let's combine one show with another show" ideas never quite come together because the cast of one show doesn't necessarily fit into the cast of the other show, but this pic that puts the cast of Mad Men into Star Trek: TNG uniforms is pretty funny and clever. Pete Campbell makes a great Wesley Crusher (at least I think he's supposed to be Wesley - if not, he should be).

The next episode of Glee will be explosive!
by Allison Waldman, posted Oct 22nd 2009 4:25PM

Last night's Glee -- "Mash-Up" -- was one of the best of the season, but it may be that it was merely an appetizer and that next week's show is going to be the big enchilada (hmm... I must be hungry). Anyway, the show won't be back until November -- after the World Series --- and based on Fox's previews, it looks like a lot is going to happen.
Review: Glee - Mash-Up
by Allison Waldman, posted Oct 22nd 2009 1:40AM

(S01E08) In what might be one of the best episodes of Glee since the premiere, Matthew Morrison was given a true showcase. There was also no Will family drama. Hmm ... is that a coincidence? I don't think so. I clearly have more interest in what Will's doing at McKinley High with the singing and dancing then his marriage.
Mash-ups were on the top of the to-do list. Emma and Ken asked Will for a wedding song mash-up, which was easier said than done when the two songs they wanted were "I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady and Sisqo's "The Thong Song." Fortunately, Will didn't sing the former, just the latter.
One more thing, Battlestar Galactica - VIDEO
by Eliot Glazer, posted Mar 31st 2009 3:06PM
For those us Battlestar Galactica nerdz, we're still feeling frakked up, teary-eyed and sniveling following the series' recent exit stage right. Ron Moore laid the show to rest with dignity and deserved pride, which is why our posting the following video might appear silly, childish, and self-indulgent to some. But still, if you haven't yet seen it, the combination of Muppet and Cylon is a marriage made in LOLheaven, and we can't let Adama and co. get away without witnessing a giant Animal enacting a nuclear holocaust across the twelve colonies. While there are plenty of mash-ups floating around YouTube, this one has most definitely stood the test of time (less than two years, that is), considering that it combines Bear McCreary and Jim Henson (which is essentially something we've been waiting for since the very moment Six blew up the planets and stuff in the BSG miniseries).
Match made in heaven? So say we all.
