Elizabeth Mitchell on Her Son Being a Flirt (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Mar 30th 2010 4:40PM
Elizabeth Mitchell on Her Son Being a FlirtActress Elizabeth Mitchell, star of 'Lost' and 'V,' appeared on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) to talk about her family. The good news? Her son C.J. has learned how to flirt with girls!

The bad news? C.J. is only four years old. "He's flirting -- I swear he's flirting," said Mitchell. "And he has the most fascinating tactics." Apparently, C.J. has learned the most valuable secret in the universe: how to flirt with girls and succeed every time.

'Lost' - 'Dr. Linus' Recap

by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 10th 2010 4:07AM
'Lost' - 'Dr. Linus'
(S06E07)
Benjamin Linus is one of the most fascinating characters ever put to screen, played with devilish brilliance by Michael Emerson. He positively dominates every scene he's in with those intense, thoughtful and incredibly dangerous big eyes of his. This week, we got to see quite literally two sides of Ben Linus.

Considering that virtually Ben's entire life happened on the island in the alpha-verse, I had been intrigued as to what beta-Ben would be like ever since his first appearance in 'The Substitute' three weeks ago. As I anticipated, our flash-sideways picks up events somewhat shortly after Locke's story.

It also features Locke, as well as a few other familiar faces in new and intriguing roles. At this point, I think I could watch an entire series set in the beta-verse just to see all these people's lives interconnect. It's truly fascinating stuff.

'Lost' - 'Lighthouse' Recap

by Jason Hughes, posted Feb 24th 2010 4:18AM
Jorge Garcia & Matthew Fox, 'Lost' - 'Lighthouse'
(S06E05)
Jack took center stage this week, in more ways than one. The character of Jack has always been frustrating to me, and I've realized it's because he's so well written and well-rounded. With many of the characters, you can safely anticipate their behavior, but Jack has thrown in a few surprises along the way.

Yes, his default setting seems to be stubborn, bull-headed anger, but we see enough of the introspective and thoughtful Jack that it's frustrating to see him succumb so completely to that mule side of his personality. Through the use of the Jack story we saw in tonight's flash-sideways, we actually got to witness both versions of Jack in one episode.

Jack Freaks Out on 'Lost' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 24th 2010 1:50AM
Lost, Jack Freaks Out Over JacobYou can't blame Jack for freaking out when he learns that Jacob's been watching him for years. Yes, Jacob has stepped right out of a George Orwell novel and into the lives of the castaways. And Jack wants answers. Now!

"It's my house," Jack tells Hurley, after seeing his childhood home on the magic screen. "It's the house I grew up in ... he's been watching us. The whole time, all of us, he's been watching us. Why was he watching us? Why was my name written down on this thing? What does he want from me?!!"

Argh! We feel his pain! Someone's watching us, too, probably right this very minute! If we had a magic screen like Jack has on 'Lost' (Tue., 9PM ET on ABC), we'd smash it, too!

'Lost' and 'V' Go Back to Back Starting March 30

by Brad Trechak, posted Feb 19th 2010 9:21AM
LostAs the headline says: on Tuesday March 30th, ABC will begin airing the remaining episodes of 'Lost' and the relatively new show 'V' on the same night, back-to-back. It's a good choice but there is some question as to whether or not 'Lost' fans will flock to 'V' once their favorite program is done.

Both shows are ensemble dramas, but 'Lost' is very subtle in its science fiction and/or fantasy elements, usually downplaying them in favor of the characters. 'V' has spaceships and lizard-people and the sci-fi is pretty tough to ignore. Even on TV Squad, 'Lost' is categorized as a drama while 'V' is science fiction or fantasy. While the science fiction genre has sometimes gotten a loyal viewership by the mainstream (if such a concept exists), it's usually because they don't realize they're watching science fiction.

So what do you think? Will fans of 'Lost' likely continue on to 'V', or is ABC making a mistake? Sound off in the comments.

Lost: The Complete Fourth Season -- DVD review - VIDEO

by Jason Hughes, posted Dec 9th 2008 2:06PM
Lost: The Complete Fourth Season DVD SetAh, Season Four. You were so good to us, even though you were slightly shorted by that pesky writers strike. Lost wasn't as impacted as a lot of other shows because the creators had already gotten the okay to do three shorter seasons before any of this happened. Sure they lost a little bit of time, but not enough to have really impacted the show.

And Season Four gave us such pivotal moments. The introduction of the freighties, including some really good and interesting characters. The return of Michael. The identities of the Oceanic Six. An in-depth examination of what happened to them after the island in more flash forwards. The man in the cabin. Ben moves the island. And the identity of the man in the casket. So much happened in fourteen short episodes, but still that's not enough. To fill out the set, we've got two full discs of extras.

Are there any clues in that new Lost poster?

by Isabelle Carreau, posted Nov 20th 2008 4:28PM
LostWhen the Lost season 4 poster was released last season, I took a few minutes to analyze it with you and try to extract clues and spoilers from it. The biggest clues we found in that poster was the skyline of a city reflecting on the water and the number 6, also in the water. Both foreshadowed the Oceanic 6 getting off the island.

It's time to resume our investigation, this time, with the season 5 official poster (see right, bigger version after the jump) which I've found at DocArzt's Lost Blog.
