Turning Kidnappers Against Each Other on 'Lie to Me' (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Aug 24th 2010 5:35AM
Turning Kidnappers Against Each Other on 'Lie to Me'Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) is a genius-level psychologist, and an expert at uncovering the lies of others. But this doesn't mean that he's not willing to tell a few lies himself -- when necessary. On the new 'Lie to Me' (Mon., 9PM ET on Fox), Cal tells a fib. He has a good reason for doing it, though. He does it in order to save another man's life.

[Spoiler alert.]

DEA agent Dave Burns (Max Martini) is kidnapped by drug dealers. The head kidnapper suspects that Dave caused the death of his father. To make matters more interesting, Dave is also the boyfriend of Dr. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) -- the woman that Cal Lightman is pretty much in love with. Obviously, Cal is still going to try to save David; but it makes it a little more poignant that he's risking his life for the man who is sleeping with his secret crush.

The Unit season three -- An early look

by Isabelle Carreau, posted Sep 24th 2007 4:24PM
The UnitLast time we saw the men of The Unit, things were going quite wrong. Some of them were taken prisoner, others went on the run, and one was recruited by the CIA while another had to face a possible court-martial. It wasn't much better for their wives since they had to cope with their personal problems while worrying for their men and children and protecting secrets and lies. Even though we all knew The Unit couldn't be a TV show with such a title without, well, a unit, we still pondered how the group would get back together, if they would all return, and if things would ever be the same.

Over the weekend, I had the chance to watch the first two episodes of the season: "Pandemonium, Parts One and Two." The first part will air tomorrow, while the other will air on October 2.

Small spoilers ahead!
