Melissa & Joey'Melissa & Joey' isn't going anywhere. ABC Family has ordered a second season of the Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence sitcom.

"Melissa and Joey have proven to be a comedic powerhouse, with wonderful chemistry that has resonated with viewers in the tradition of great television pairings," Michael Riley, president of ABC Family, said in a statement. "As our focus on comedy continues to develop, we're delighted to see it return next year as an integral part of the network's expanding slate of original series."

Melissa Joan Hart Remembers Being 'Sabrina' and Salem, Her 'Magical Pussy' (VIDEO)

Melissa Joan Hart, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'If we were to meet Melissa Joan Hart, we'd be inclined to ask her about 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.' It was this signature role that cemented her as a favorite of a generation. But, according to Hart on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), it's actually "a little bit" annoying.

So we'll just ask about her new show 'Melissa & Joey' instead. Only that one doesn't feature Salem, her talking cat. Hart equated her talking to a cat on 'Sabrina' to Craig Ferguson talking to his skeleton robot sidekick Geoff Peterson.

"That's my magical pussy," she said of Salem, but then wondered if she could say that on television. Ferguson innocently indicated he knew of no other meaning for her words, but later when she left out the word "magical" they censored her.

Melissa Joan Hart on Child Stars Gone Good (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 20th 2010 2:00PM
According to Melissa Joan Hart, former star of 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,' child stars gone bad often overshadow those who go on to have productive careers as adults, she said on the fourth hour of 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC).

"I think that a lot of what we see are the ones that are in trouble. I think you forget about a lot of the ones that maybe are having the boring lives, the good, solid, you know, normal lives. But, to the public, it's not a train wreck, so it's not as interesting," said Hart, citing Candace Cameron, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Love Hewitt as stars who started young, but managed to avoid the pitfalls of bad behavior.

Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence Reunite for ABC Family Sitcom

by Chris Jordan, posted Feb 1st 2010 3:01PM
The chemistry between Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence, who co-starred in the ABC Family movie 'My Fake Fiance' last spring, was apparently good enough to warrant its own show.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network has just ordered 10 episodes of a new comedy series, aptly titled 'Melissa & Joey.' The upcoming sitcom is set to hit the small-screen airwaves sometime this year.

'My Fake Fiance,' in which Hart and Lawrence played two schemers who stage an engagement between them to collect wedding presents, garnered more than three million viewers when it premiered in April. In the new series, Hart will play an overwrought politician who hires Lawrence to help straighten out her family issues.

Review: Dancing with the Stars - Performance 6 Results

(S09E13) Tonight on Dancing with the Stars there was some actual content tonight: the dance-off. Unfortunately, that meant that there was no encore performance. Instead we go right into Taylor Swift.

Musical Performance - Taylor Swift - "Jump then Fall" - Anyone notice that the stage Norah Jones had last week was just audience chairs? Taylor Swift is a horrible live singer (squeaking every time she sang the word "jump"), but luckily we had some professionals who reminded me of Ryan & Ashleigh from So You Think You Can Dance. Their lift near the end was the best part.

Dancing with the Stars: Performance 1 Part 2

(S09E02) Last night the men brought the energy, but tonight it's the women's turn to bring their A-game to Dancing with the Stars. We begin with the women's professional routine, and they are equally as uncoordinated as the men dancing solo last night. Ironically, both Chelsie and Lacey incorporated contemporary moves in their solo, as if it was So You Think You Can Dance.

The celebrities make their way down the stairs, and they all still look fresh-faced and happy to be there. We'll see who still looks happy when the stress and the bruises kick in. Tonight, the women have either the Salsa or Viennese Waltz. In the relay, they either have the Cha-Cha or Foxtrot.
