Lara Pulver and Michael Steger Join 'True Blood' Season 3

Sookie Stackhouse will have plenty of new faces to keep her company this summer on the upcoming third season of 'True Blood.' In addition to the slew of recurring players and guest stars that have already been announced, the HBO vamp series has now tapped British actress Lara Pulver and '90210's Michael Steger for key roles.
Pulver, Isabella to fans of BBC's 'Robin Hood,' has singed to play Claudine, Sookie's fairy godmother, according to the Ausiello Files. Word is that Claudine is a major player in two of Charlaine Harris' 'Southern Vampire' books, so fans can probably expect to see Pulver supporting Sookie beyond season three.
Steger, meanwhile, will guest star as a gay prostitute named Tony who gets mixed up with the Vampire King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare). Don't worry, though, '90210' fans: Steger isn't leaving the CW teen drama anytime soon. He's only contracted for one 'True Blood' ep this season, but he could return as a recurring player for season four.
The 'Blood' starts flowing again Sun., Jun. 13 on HBO. Additional guest stars include Oscar nominee Alfre Woodard and Grant Bowler ('Ugly Betty').
The first look at the official 90210 cast and other news about the spin-off
by Isabelle Carreau, posted May 15th 2008 11:45AM

Earlier this week, The CW released this promotional picture of the 90210 regular cast. From left to right: Dustin Milligan, AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Walter, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, Lori Loughlin, Ryan Eggold, Jessica Stroup and Michael Steger.
If you've been keeping up with information about the spin-off, you know that there is someone missing from that picture. No, it's not Jennie Garth or Tori Spelling since they will be recurring/guest stars. But it's the actor who'll play the pivotal character of Harry Mills, a father who relocates his family in Beverly Hills to take care of his mother.
