'Gossip Girl': 10 Things to Know About the 100th Episode & More

by Crystal Bell, posted Nov 21st 2011 6:00PM
gossip girl 100th episode Spotted: Manhattan's favorite Upper East Siders (and Brooklynites) celebrating the 100th episode of 'Gossip Girl' at Cipriani on Wall Street in New York. As always, it was a fashionable affair for the cast -- Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Chase Crawford and Ed Westwick were all on hand -- but the real guest of honor, according to executive producer Josh Schwartz? The celebratory cake!

"We've talked about the cake for a long, long time," Schwartz told AOL TV. "'The OC' went to 93 or 92 episodes, so we were close but no cake. It's really a testament to Stephanie [Savage] and her leadership, guiding the show to 100 episodes. We birthed it, but Stephanie's really raised this child. I just send an alimony check."

But it wasn't all cake talk. The cast also teased the highly anticipated 100th episode, and all we can say is OMG! Orgies, dance sequences, a royal wedding and a potential runaway bride? This is one episode you can't miss. And from what we hear, the first 10 minutes see the entire cast doing something they've never done before.

What can it be? Let the gossip commence ...

Michelle Trachtenberg on 'Weeds,' Returning to 'Gossip Girl' & Her Showbiz Role Model

by Jean Bentley, posted Sep 12th 2011 12:00PM
Michelle TrachtenbergLet's get this straight: Michelle Trachtenberg only plays a pot dealer on TV. If you happen to overhear the actress discussing her side job while walking down the street, know that it's only her role as college student Emma on the seventh season of 'Weeds' that she's talking about.

Emma has caused plenty of trouble for the fresh-outta-prison Nancy Botwin (Mary Louise Parker), as the two women fight over the same New York City territories for their dueling weed businesses. "Emma is probably just as ruthless as Nancy is, except without as much of the experience," Trachtenberg told AOL TV when she called us last week to discuss her 'Weeds' guest arc.

Below, the 25-year-old actress expounds on what it's like to deal drugs (fictionally, of course), hooking up with Hunter Parrish and the A-list star she's modeling her career after.

Andy Decides to Kidnap the Competition on 'Weeds' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 30th 2011 2:53AM
'Weeds' - 'System Overhead'Emma turned the Botwin family's world upside down, but in Andy's case it was quite literal. After taking Silas for an emotional, and physical ride, she then took the "brain" of the Botwin family drug business on last week's 'Weeds' (Mon., 10PM ET on Showtime).

Then, she decided to literally turn Andy's bike shop upside down, hanging from the ceiling what was on the floor and vice-versa. While it was a pretty trippy visual, we're not sure what she was trying to prove. How powerful her organization was, perhaps?

Probably, as she was certainly pretty cocky and sure of herself when Silas confronted her on the sidewalk. She even remained cool and aloof when Andy showed up on the scene with a nail gun to kidnap her.

Silas' New Hire Is More Than She Appears to Be on 'Weeds' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 23rd 2011 6:12AM
Michelle Trachtenberg, 'Weeds'Bringing in a new employee in any business is a risky venture. If it's an illegal operation, due dilligence is even more essential. And yet, Silas let his libido do the hiring on 'Weeds' (Mon., 10PM ET on Showtime), when he invited

Shane convinced Nancy to let him be her man on the inside, as part of his internship program with the cops. But his isn't nearly as savvy as he needed to be, and winds up arrested. The evidence he did bring home, though, would have been helpful if Silas had only seen it the day before.

Instead, he invites Emma to flip from their rival organization, Pouncy House, and into his organization. He brings her in, shows her the operation and then promptly sleeps with her.

Like Mary Kate Olsen before her, Trachtenberg will play a pot dealer on the Showtime series -- but her character will be one of Nancy's rivals, not one of her coworkers. Look for the actress also known as Georgina Sparks to pop up in two episodes this season.

'Weeds'' seventh season premieres tonight at 10PM. Check out AOL TV's interview with star Justin Kirk, then figure out which quirky Showtime woman you're most like in our handy flowchart.

Mercy, Irish and Italians FightWhat do you get when you put a bunch of Irish and Italian people in the same hospital waiting room? A big fight, that's what.

At least, that's what happened on 'Mercy' (Wed., 8PM ET on NBC) when the Fighting Irish got to live up to their name. Anyway, they were in the right place for all of those resulting cuts and scrapes. Kudos to Chloe for some kick-ass fire extinguisher skills.

What's Hot on SlashControl: Veronica clashes with Dr. Harris on Mercy

by Jane Boursaw, posted Oct 22nd 2009 1:31PM
Mercy - Veronica and Dr. HarrisThere's so much cool stuff on SlashControl, it's hard to choose what to feature. But since I get to do this every day, that'll make it easier. Today, I'm featuring a clip from one of my favorite new shows, Mercy. It's not like we don't have enough hospital/doctor/nurse shows on right now, but there's something about Mercy that's different.

Maybe it's the actors, which include Taylor Schilling, James Tupper, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Maybe it's the fact that the main character, Veronica, has just come home from Iraq and is still wounded from that experience. And yet she keeps moving forward, despite issues like smashing a windshield with a cinder block when she's angry.

That raccoon in Mercy totally creeped me out!

by Jane Boursaw, posted Oct 8th 2009 10:02AM
Michelle Trachtenberg and raccoon on MercyWhoa! I did NOT see that coming. One of the cases on last night's episode of Mercy was a woman suspected of having rabies after feeding a raccoon. So they brought the raccoon in to have it checked out. It was supposed to be dead, thanks to a poison apple and some peanut butter, but when the lid came off the styrofoam cooler, the coon jumped out and started running around the hospital floor.

Just the idea of a raccoon with rabies is creepy enough, but add in letting it loose in a hospital and the creep factor goes way up.

Michelle Trachtenberg on Mercy, Gossip Girl and True Blood

by Angie Argabrite, posted Sep 30th 2009 12:00PM
You may know Michelle Trachtenberg as 'Gossip Girl''s (the CW, Mon., 9PM) resident bad girl, Georgina. But this season Trachtenberg hopes you'll also get to know her as brand-new nurse Chloe on the freshman hospital drama 'Mercy' (NBC, Weds., 8PM).

The busy ingenue found time to dish with AOL TV about how Georgina's like the devil, how Trachtenberg got into the head of good girl Chloe -- and whether she'll revisit her vampire past one way or another (probably not a 'Buffy' movie, but maybe reuniting with Alan Ball for 'True Blood').

Gossip Girl: The Lost Boys

by Isabelle Carreau, posted Sep 29th 2009 1:52AM
Gossip Girl
(S03E03) "Please tell me it was Blair and not Georgina." - Vanessa and Serena in unison to Dan

Dan may be on a new path since he arrived at NYU, but he hasn't changed enough to be Blair-worthy. Funny that both girls hoped that he slept with Blair and not Georgina. I get that they prefer Blair over Georgina even if both can be rather evil, but Dan and Blair will happen when pigs fly. Now I have to try to remove that mental picture of Blair and Dan making out from my brain!

In any case, this week's episode of Gossip Girl continued the Dan and Georgina hooking up storyline, put Chuck and Blair at odds, and put Carter and Serena at odds, while having Scott make some true and false revelations.
