Judd Nelson Plays a Quirky Doc on 'Psych' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 18th 2010 8:07AM
Psych, Judd NelsonWe'll always think of Judd Nelson as the "the criminal" who stole Molly Ringwald's heart (and a few other things) on 'The Breakfast Club.'

But now he's all grown up and showing his quirky side as a kooky doctor on 'Psych' (Wed., 10PM ET on USA). We hope his wish to dissect Shawn's temporal lobe doesn't come to pass. We're ok with the DNA part, though.

Now if only he'd show up on 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' so he can steal Ringwald's heart again.

Watch the video after the jump.

Molly Ringwald Interview for 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager'

by Kim Potts, posted Jun 30th 2008 6:00AM
Molly Ringwald"I think there are definitely a lot of people who would love to see a 'Sixteen Candles' sequel."

To Gen Xers, she'll forever be an iconic '80s teen, but -- surprise! -- 'Breakfast Club' star Molly Ringwald is 40-years-old now.

So, in ABC Family's new drama 'Secret Life of the American Teenager' (premiering July 1, 8 PM ET) she's the mom to a 15-year-old band geek who ends up pregnant after a one-night stand.

Ringwald talked to AOL TV about her series' controversial storyline, and which of her beloved movies might be headed for a sequel.

Molly Ringwald to guest on Medium

by Joel Keller, posted Apr 11th 2006 8:40PM
Molly RingwaldWhen I was in high school, I had a thing for redheads (I think it was because I had a long unrequited crush on this girl Tracy, who just happened to be the only person ahead of me academically in my class... oh, it's a long painful story that I'll tell one day... for profit). So, in the entertainment world of the mid-eighties, that meant that I lusted after the same two girls every other ginger-crazed teen did: Allison Smith and Molly Ringwald. I haven't seen a lot of either lately (and judging by the most recent shots of Allison, if I had seen her, I wouldn't recognize her).

Indeed, the last time Molly did TV was in a TNT movie in 2002. But in May, she'll come back to TV in an episode of Medium. She'll play some woman in distress that Patricia Arquette's character will use her psychic powers to help. It really doesn't matter; I'll probably just tune in to see Molly. Or not; I'm a little more into brunettes these days.
