Breaking News: WWE To Develop Its First Sitcom Around Santino Marella
"They call me the next one to cross over, the next Hollywood star," smirked 'WWE Monday Night RAW' superstar Santino Marella while disclosing for the first time plans for the 'Santino Morella Sitcom' at last night's 'Monday Night RAW' event in Columbus, Ohio. The Canadian-born, Italian-American has already turned himself into the comedic foil of professional wrestling with his over-the-top accent, fake unibrow and proclivity to dress in drag in order to wrestle as Santina Marella, the "sister" of Santino. (The National Italian American Foundation should look into being offended by him after they recover from this season of 'Jersey Shore'.)
Now, apparently, he's getting his own sitcom. In it, Morello said that WWE stars Beth Phoenix and Vladimir Kozlov will portray his girlfriend and best friend, respectively.

WWE's McMahon trumps Trump with Raw buyback
That didn't take long. The storyline featuring Donald Trump "buying" Monday Night Raw from World Wrestling Entertainment's Vince McMahon lasted all of one week. On Monday's commercial-free Raw from Green Bay, Wisc., McMahon bought the show back from Trump for "double the original price." Trump took the deal and smacked McMahaon across the chops for his trouble.
The show capped a day-long publicity festival for the WWE in which local network news affiliates flocked to the Green Bay airport to shoot Trump arriving and to hear speeches from him and McMahon. It was the first time any media set foot in that airport without Brett Favre being involved.
WWE Monday Night Raw: Trumple H?
Never have a personality and an organization entered into a more appropriate marriage than Donald Trump and World Wrestling Entertainment. Pro wrestling has always been full of over-the-top, testosterone filled rants, colorful costumes, and over-sized props. And Trump, well, is famous for about the same sort of thing. Plus, we know pro wrestling is fake, and we're pretty sure about Trump's hair. All weekend long, USA promoted tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw event, on which Trump will appear. The "ruse" is that Trump bought the WWE, something John Scott Lewinski reported last week didn't sit well with the company's stockholders. On tonight's show, Randy Orton defends his title against Triple H, as "decreed" by Trump. And he gave a press conference today with the WWE Divas. What could be more fitting?

What did you watch at 9pm last night?
Monday nights at 9 has become one of the major time slots on the networks these days. On NBC you have the megahit Heroes. Over on CBS there's the comedy smash Two and a Half Men, and FOX has 24. What do you watch?
The Los Angeles Times has a piece about the battle for viewers in the time slot, and they say that over 45 million people are watching the three shows at that time. The paper wonders if one of the networks will blink next season and move one of the shows to let it breathe a little bit. Though no one is planning that as of yet.
