TV Star Fights With Octomom, Oscar Producers Downplay Oprah's Involvement & More TV News
by Maggie Furlong, posted Jul 10th 2011 4:00PM
When Octomom became a household word, people everywhere dreamed of what they'd say to Nadya Suleman, the outrageous single mom of multiples who was grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons.According to MSNBC, Kristen Johnston -- best known for her role on '3rd Rock From the Sun' -- got the chance on a recent flight from NYC to L.A.
Apparently Octomom was having trouble keeping her 12 children quiet, even before the flight took off, and the outspoken Johnston was not gonna put up with it for the entire cross-country trip.
Suleman's rep told E!: "Nadya and her children were in business class ... apparantly Kristen became upset and came from 1st class to tell her to keep her kids quiet. They had an altercation and Kristen got off the plane and never returned. While Nadya had help from her friend and two older children, it's not easy to travel with one two-year-old let alone eight two-year-olds on a plane. She did the best anyone could."

Take a tour through the past year of TV and relive some of the best moments the medium had to offer in our 10 Most Viewed Videos of the Year. We'd all do well to study these fan favorites and commit them to long-term memory. After all, someday our grandchildren might ask where we were when Terry Bradshaw sprang from a cake, when Helen Mirren showed up in a red bikini or when Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walked off their own set. Okay, maybe not. But it's nice to dream.Nadya Suleman Feels Guilty About Being Octomom (VIDEO)

Octomom's Bizarre Appearance on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 24th 2010 3:30PM
This absolutely qualifies as one of the most bizarre moments we've ever seen. Nadya Suleman made a scattered, loopy appearance on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated) today, forgetting questions, distractedly moving her attention from one co-host to another, and breaking out in strange, braying fits of laughter throughout the entire segment. Suleman's behavior is so odd that Joy Behar asks, "Are you on something?" Suleman responds by saying she's simply full of "energy." Hmm. Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

Best TV of the '00s: Trashy Reality
by Michael Pascua, posted Jan 1st 2010 2:02PM
More of our best of the decade coverage, which started on Tuesday. You can read the other posts at the link above. Here, we talk about the cheesiest in reality from the decade. And there was a lot of cheesy going around. The turn of the millennium was the point when television networks were watching the rise of Survivor, The Amazing Race, and American Idol and thought, "I can do that!" What they didn't realize was that to maintain a high quality level, they still needed a big budget.
Instead of monetary prizes, networks turned to things like love, the experience, and the belief of fifteen minutes of fame to entice people to participate. Slowly with the help of networks like Fox, E!, and VH1, reality shows got more classless and turned trashy. Like a car accident, viewers can't stop watching. The decade has provided a countless number of trashy reality shows and here is TV Squad's favorites of the decade.

Show I'm not going to watch: FOX's super-duper Octomom extravaganza
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 11th 2009 8:04AM
Call me naive, but I honestly thought that we had seen the last of Octomom and her family, at least until that reality show debuted. But no! FOX is going to air a two-hour special on August 19 titled Everybody Loves Octomom. Well, no. It's actually called Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage. I don't know what could be "incredible" about the footage, unless it's footage of the actual birth of her kids, but I do know it's a show I have no intention of watching (not even in an "ironic" way).
Will you watch Octomom's reality show?
by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 27th 2009 2:30PM
Nadya Suleman, who will always be known as "Octomom" because it's funnier, has officially signed papers for a reality TV show to feature her and her 14 kids. No word yet on which network will air the show (it might air overseas first as it's a British company producing the show) or what it will be called, but I'm hoping it's called Fourteen is Enough or Nadya & Nobody Plus 14.| Yes, I think it will be interesting | |

| I'll tune in once just to see how it's handled | |

E! declares the most awful celebrity in Hollywood, as chosen by you
by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 4th 2009 6:02PM
What a great idea! In this era of people becoming celebrities for the stupidest reasons (I had a bunch of kids), or getting reality shows for even worse reasons (I'm rich!), there are certainly more stupid celebrities out there than there used to be in, say, the Cosby era. Back then it was primarily sports athletes and performers. Which means they all had a bit of talent. With so much realty schlock on the air today, that's no longer required to be famous. Granted, there were always the occasional "fifteen minutes" guy or gal, but not like we have now.E! put together a list of 128 celebrities, including lots of actors, and let you vote on who was worse. They put them up head to head over nine rounds to get our winner and in the end it came down to two celebrities who are famous based on no merit of their own: Nadya "Octomom" Suleman and Spencer (The Hills, I'm a Celebrity...) Brat Pratt; Heidi made the list but not the finals. So who was E!s most awful celebrity?
Octomom finally gets her reailty show ... now if someone would only air it
by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 1st 2009 1:04PM
Actually, even saying Octomom Nadya Suleman is getting a reality show is generous. She's got a production deal with a production company out of the Netherlands to produce a show spotlighting key events in her children's lives. And no television network signed on to air it as of yet. The company is modeling it after a TV series in Denmark that documented four children all the way through to adulthood. Which means we may have some time yet before we're subjected to it.Don't get me wrong, kids are cute and everybody loves multiples, but the big problem here is
