Catching Up With the 'Nikita' Cast at New York Comic Con
by Ryan McKee, posted Oct 14th 2010 3:30PM
'Nikita' is one of our favorite new dramas of this season. And yes, we're just as surprised as you that it's on the CW. So last weekend, we jumped at the chance to speak to creator Craig Silverstein and stars Maggie Q, Lyndsy Fonseca and Shane West at New York's Comic Con. They gave us some insights on where the show has been and where it's going.
For those of you not familiar with 'Nikita,' allow us to catch you up so far. Don't worry, we won't spoil anything for you in case this article inspires you to start watching the series from the beginning.
'The Vampire Diaries' at New York Comic Con (VIDEO)

Brace yourself, because this piece of 'Vampire Diaries' news -- fresh out of the New York Comic Con press room -- is huge. HUGE. When asked to dish about the next new episode of the show, which airs Thu., Oct. 21, creator Kevin Williamson shared one major detail: "They all die. Damon and Elena die. Spoiler alert! Damon, Stefan and Elena. We have a whole new cast of characters coming in next week."
While we're pretty sure he's kidding -- though you can never know for sure on a show as jam-packed full of action as 'The Vampire Diaries' -- he, along with co-creator Julie Plec and stars Sara Canning, Katerina Graham, Steven McQueen and Zach Roerig did spill a few more details about what's coming up next.
After the jump, enjoy a video lovingly put together by yours truly. It only took me 10 hours, but about eight of those hours were spent staring into Roerig's eyes and replaying clips of McQueen laughing. Time well spent.
NY Comic Con 2009 - my TV experience
by Brad Trechak, posted Feb 9th 2009 1:35PM
Braving the crowds and the weather, I managed to attend the 2009 New York Comic Con for the weekend. While I wasn't able to see everything or sit in on every panel, I thought I'd give an overall synopsis of the stuff I did manage to do as it relates to television.I should note that Robert Culp and William Katt were both at the Con giving us a Greatest American Hero reunion. They were kind enough to pose for a picture.
I arrived at 1 p.m. on Friday, and after a short wait as I and my fellow geeks was slowly herded in like cattle, I browsed around the dealer room.
Wonder Woman to appear at the NYCC
by Brad Trechak, posted Dec 10th 2008 10:02AM
It's nice to know that creators who started in TV can still find new markets to conquer. The upcoming, animated Wonder Woman movie will be screened on the Friday night of the New York Comic Con. Animator Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series among others) will be a guest of honor at the Con and will appear on a panel following the screening. Actors lending their voices to the movie include Keri Russell (from Felicity) and Nathan Fillion (from Firefly). Hopefully, they will be appearing on the panel as well (the announcement is somewhat vague about who will be there other than Timm).
