Oprah's 'Your OWN Show' Winner Premieres 'Rollin' With Zach' (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Dec 12th 2011 10:00AM
Zach Anner, 'Rollin' With Zach'When Oprah Winfrey started her OWN network, she brought along her usual crew of experts to fill the line-up, but she also launched a nation-wide search for new personalities, with possibly the best reality TV competition prize ever: the winner would receive their own OWN show.

The series' first season ended in February with the announcement of a double win -- both cooking show host hopeful Kristina Kuzmic and comedian travel show host wannabe Zach Anner received new series, and we've got an exclusive sneak peek at one of them, 'Rollin' With Zach' (premieres on Mon., Dec. 12, 8PM ET on OWN).

Zach's comedic skills give his new travel show an interesting spin, but it's the fact that he's literally rolling places that intrigues even more -- his cerebral palsy means he's confined to a wheelchair. Obviously, that doesn't slow him down; the series' first two premiere episodes feature him flying high above Chicago on carnival swings and testing out the local Greek delicacies. Opa to Oprah, indeed!

His fiancée Jennifer Elia was shocked and horrified at some of the comments that came through Twitter.

It is amazing how much hatred some people can have in their hearts. Certainly, the Internet has made it easier for these people to spew some of the most horrific and terrifying bile toward others, and Bono received plenty, including threats of physical violence and death.

"I don't think its worth it to do this show if he's gonna get shot," Elia said. "I don't want him to die for a cause."

Beth Chapman, 'The Rosie Show'Beth Chapman may be a reality television star on 'Dog the Bounty Hunter,' but that's only her second gig. Her primary occupation is as a bail bondsman, so who better to explain how the taxpayers wound up footing the bill for Jerry Sandusky's release on 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN).

Chapman explained that Sandusky got a PR bond, which is usually reserved for first-time offenders of minor "scuffles." It gets suspicious when you consider that this was done on a Saturday and with a judge associated with Sandusky's charity presiding. Thus, the outrage that has occurred this week, or "the pack of wild moms," as Chapman called them, and Rosie O'Donnell is proudly a part of.

Jenny McCarthy, 'The Rosie Show'Just for fun, Rosie O'Donnell set up a version of 'The Dating Game' on 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN) to help Jenny McCarthy find a good man. McCarthy even adopted a goofy voice so none of the bachelors would know who she was.

She threw them for a loop when she asked one of them if he was okay with her being pregnant with Justin Bieber's baby. But they turned around and flattered her, without her even knowing it, in their response to her next question.

"If you could date any of the following celebrities, who would it be: Kate Hudson, Jenny McCarthy or Natalie Portman?" The response was unanimously Jenny McCarthy.

Rosie O'Donnell Remembers Meeting Mariah Carey When She Was 'Little, Little' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 9th 2011 12:00AM
Mariah Carey, 'The Rosie Show'If you were able to look back through your history, there's a chance you had a brush with someone famous, only it happened before they were famous. Rosie O'Donnell encountered a beautiful little girl named Mariah years ago, as she explained on 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN). Even after Mariah Carey blew up on the music scene, O'Donnell didn't make the connection.

It wasn't until someone pointed out that Carey had grown up on a certain street that O'Donnell realized it was the same little girl she used to sing to at the bus stop. It's just kind of crazy to imagine what some of the people you've encountered along the way may have gone on and done with their lives -- and you don't even know you knew them way back when.

"Oh, don't do something creepy," O'Donnell said as he put the string in his mouth. And then when he reached for his eye, she almost couldn't watch. "Are you doing the creepy thing?" she asked, before getting the answer she didn't want.
