Six Reality TV Stars Who've Gone the Distance
by Jane Boursaw, posted Apr 28th 2010 12:01AM
Think about reality TV, and what usually springs to mind is a bunch of youngsters living in homes together, performing on talent shows, or trying to get their careers rolling -- sometimes all at the same time. But let's not forget the elder statespeople who already had a stunning career behind them, only to come back into the public eye by participating in a reality show. Perhaps these celebrity veterans helped to pave the way for 'Sunset Daze,' a new show premiering April 28 at 10PM ET on WE tv that follows a group of people at a retirement community in Arizona's Sun City.
Lest you think it's all pudding and painkillers, rest assured there will be sex! Guns! Skydiving! And motorcycles!
Review: 'American Idol' - 'Road To Hollywood'
by Kona Gallagher, posted Feb 4th 2010 12:40AM
(S09E08) This is the last episode before we get to Hollywood, and you know it's going to be good for two reasons: Victoria Beckham's back, and they start it off with "Pants on the Ground" (Although, how could they leave the classic Brett Favre version out of the montage?). However, Beckham is only back for a little while, as this is a montage of auditions from all of the stops that we haven't seen yet. It's kind of weird how it's set up, because even though we haven't seen these people before, this still seems like a strange kind of clip show. In any case, it wraps up the audition process, in which 181 golden tickets were handed out, and gets us ready for the real show to start next week, when Ellen DeGeneres permanently joins the cast, which is what I've been waiting for.

'American Idol' hopeful "General" Larry Platt performed 'Pants on the Ground' on 'The View' yesterday, and explained how his song against droopy drawers came about. The spry 62-year-old Platt, who became a sensation after appearing on last week's 'American Idol' auditions, looked as dapper as ever as he rapped in front of 'The View's' studio audience, then took a moment to describe to Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck what inspired the song.

The Ladies of 'The View' Put Their Pants on the Ground (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Jan 14th 2010 5:00PM
It's been less than a day since General Larry's Platt's hysterical performance on the Atlanta auditions of 'American Idol,' and the ladies of 'The View' already have their pants on the ground.Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck gleefully belted out a refrain from Platt's 'Pants on the Ground,' an original composition which disapproves of low-slung pants and rap/hip-hop fashion in general.
