Pee-Wee Herman Shrinks Jimmy Kimmel, Takes Over His Show (VIDEO)

Pee-Wee Herman, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'If you ever wondered what Pee-Wee Herman would do if he were given a talk show today, tuning in to his appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) would have answered the question. Using a shrinking potion, he shrunk Kimmel down and took over the desk.

His first demand now that he had his own talk show? He had the band fire up some circus music. Kimmel finally complained -- in a very goofy, high-pitched voice -- one time too many, and Herman dropped a trick-or-treat basket over him.

From a Pile of Junk to Pee-Wee Herman's Bike on 'Dirty Money' (VIDEO)

Pee-wee Herman bike, 'Dirty Money'Jimmy had a stroke of genius on 'Dirty Money' (Wed., 10PM ET on Discovery). Looking at a pile of bicycle parts they'd salvaged, he suddenly remembered what iconic creation could be made from them.

"What is the most famous Schwinn in the world?" he asked. "Why don't we turn this into the Pee-wee Herman bike?"

The only financial investment they put into it was the new tires, at fifty bucks. The rest of it was from on-hand materials, and they did an absolutely beautiful job in recreating the bicycle made famous in 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.'

Pee-Wee Herman Uses Toys to Illustrate NBC's Late-Night Fiasco (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Jan 22nd 2010 12:30PM
Pee-Wee Herman used stuffed animals and action figures to illustrate NBC's late-night fiasco on 'The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien' last night.

Herman used a stuffed giraffe with an impressive plume of red hair to signify Conan O'Brien, and a plush version of the NBC peacock logo to represent the network. Both engaged in an all-out struggle, then called upon the action figures of Optimus Prime and a mechanized suit from 'Avatar' to aid them in their battle.

Watch the video after the jump.

Pee-wee Herman's comeback show is fun and nostalgic - TCA Report

Paul Ruebens as Pee-wee Herman introducing his 2010 stage showSaturday night, I decided to get away from the hotel and join a small group of critics on a field trip to Club Nokia in downtown LA to see Paul Ruebens' new stage production of The Pee-wee Herman Show.

It was a heck of a lot of fun, which is saying a lot because I've never been a huge fan of Pee-wee or his classic CBS Saturday-morning show Pee-wee's Playhouse. But most of the people who were there were die-hard fans, many of whom either caught Pee-wee's original stage show in the mid '80s, grew up watching his movies or Playhouse, or likely spent their Saturday mornings in college working on their first weekend high while watching his show.

For fans, it was pure comfort food. The stage was set up exactly like the set of Playhouse, complete with his complement of talking household items: Chairry, Magic Screen, Clocky, Pterri, Fish, etc. Jambi was also there to grant Pee-wee his wishes.
