'Oprah' - Pink dishes on Grammy PerformanceAnyone who watched Pink's silk-and-water acrobatics during the Grammys last week knew they were seeing something truly awesome. In Oprah's words, "It felt transcendent. It felt like taking us out of something more than just the music, but into the music."

Yes! That's exactly what it felt like. And of course, it allowed Pink to do something really cool: "I wanted to get all the famous people wet." Yeah, there's that, too.

'Friday Night Alright' (11PM, VH1) series premiere
What's better than seeing a great concert on Friday night? And in this case, you don't have to deal with $9 beers or your drunken fellow concertgoers singing along off-key. Or maybe you do, but at least it'll be concertgoers who also happen to be sharing your couch, as VH1's weekly concert series will bring performances from A-list musicians, from locations all over the world, to your TV. The series kicks off with Pink, performing from Sydney, Australia, on her 'Funhouse Live' tour.

American Idol: Live Results Show #11

by Liz Finn-Arnold, posted May 9th 2007 11:46PM
Barry Gibb(S06E37) The theme for tonight's American Idol is appropriately enough -- The Fantastic Four. We're down to just four (soon to be three) finalists. And this past week the finalists were treated to a sneak peek at the upcoming movie, The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Of course this means the viewers at home will be treated to an extended promo for the flick before the night is out.

In preparation for an appearance by Jessica Alba, Simon and Paula have apparently swapped seats. Paula says the reason for the switch is because Jessica is hot, and then she starts counting for no apparent reason.

It premieres before NFL football debuts on NBC on Sept. 10.

NBC released a statement explaining why it chose Pink, "because she is a tremendous talent with a crossover appeal that makes her relevant to all segments of our audience." As for Pink? She's just a big fan of football.

Pink ties the knot

by Kim Voynar, posted Jan 8th 2006 8:08AM

Singer Pink reportedly tied the knot this weekend with her motocross racing boyfriend Carey Hart, in Costa Rica. I can't say that Pink is one of my fave singers, but dang! I gotta give the girl props for those abs. Hart, as you may recall, was also on the fifth season of Surreal Life (What? You didn't watch it either?). Hopefully the Grammy-winning singer will have sense enough not to allow anyone to talk her into making a reality show of her first year of marriage (she can ask Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey how well that idea worked out).
