Ever wanted to plot a prison break without having to endure the embarrassment of receiving a felony, disappointing your loved ones or showering with total strangers? Now you can!

A new video game version of Fox's 'Prison Break', developed by Deep Silver and ZootFly Studios, is set to hit the store shelves next month and the official trailer has hit the web. Watch it when the guards aren't looking.

It's a good thing Michael, Lincoln and T-Bag got out while they had the chance, because after years of celebrating criminal escapees on 'Prison Break,' Fox is about to back a different horse: the correctional system.

Yes, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox has given the greenlight to 'Breakout Kings,' which is described as "a closed-ended procedural about a team of marshals and ex-cons who work together to apprehend criminals who break out of prison." If you'll pardon the pun, the pilot, which is being produced by 'Prison Break' execs Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora and directed by 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine''s Gavin Hood (pictured), would seem to be the perfect vehicle to bring back some of that show's breakout characters; no word yet, though, on whether Wenthworth Miller or Dominic Purcell will be on hand to reprise their roles on the side of the law.

Maybe someone is headed to prison on the upcoming third season of 'True Blood.' Why else would the show cast two alumnus from 'Prison Break?'

First up is Marshall Allman, who didn't always have as much to do as we would have liked in the role of Lincoln Burrows' son, L.J. On a show known for over-the-top characters and plot lines, Allman's take as L.J. always felt authentic with emotion and conviction.

Sounds like a perfect fit for the world of vampires and other things that go bump in the night. Allman is on tap to play shape-shifter Sam's younger sibling Tommy, according to the Ausiello Files.

Recently, we were inspired by 'Parks and Recreation' to write a feature listing TV shows that overcame a rocky launch. Sadly, the reverse seems more common: shows that start strong but finish weak.

Our latest inspiration is the ongoing death spiral of 'Heroes.' (This week: Mohinder does something stupid! People's powers go awry at inopportune moments! Adrian Pasdar, pictured, looks like he'd rather be anywhere else!) Here's a once-inspired show that seems to be going down in flames after having run out of ideas.

Other times, shows peter out because of casting changes, bad writing or bizarre creative decisions. In each case, however, the audience feels betrayed and often deserts the show, leading to ratings death and what-went-wrong autopsies. Here's what went wrong on nine other good shows gone bad.

Sometimes it's easy to see when a TV show has jumped the shark.

Amaury Nolasco, star of Fox's highly budgeted 'Prison Break,' says he thinks his show ended at the right time, after its series finale this past May.

"I think it just ran its course," Nolasco told Inside TV at Monday's 'Star Trek' DVD and Blu-Ray premiere party in Hollywood. "I mean, how many more prisons can we actually break from? I think we got out on a high, before it became, 'Oh, really?'"

Is television taking up too much of your time? Do you find yourself spending night after night on the couch, spending hours of quality time clutching your remote in the hopes it will lead you down the primrose path of perfect entertainment? Have you wasted entire days of your life decreasing the firmness of the coils in your couch with your ever increasing ass planted firmly in front of the idiot box?

If so, maybe a more physical activity would perk up your droll and dull life. Why not put down that remote, throw that TV Guide in the trash compactor and pick up that video game controller for a few hours of TV-related interactive entertainment? Because exercise is for people with no creative thought for self-entertainment.

More good news out of NBC's top drama. Wentworth Miller is guesting on Law and Order: SVU, and this time he's not going to be behind bars. The Prison Break actor will star in the September 23 premiere of Law and Order: SVU, which is kicking off its 11th season on the NBC.

Wentworth Miller's casting comes on the heels of NBC re-signing of Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni to two-year extensions as the show's mainstays, Detectives Benson and Stabler, as well as the return of Stephanie March as Alex Cabot and a four-show arc for Christine Lahti. I'd say that the powers-that-be are stacking the deck with prime talent to make sure Law and Order: SVU maintains its top quality status.

What the Season's About: The title says it all: This is the final season of the fan favorite that was just canceled. While the series had its ups and downs, season 4 was seen as a resurgence as brothers Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) go after the group that destroyed their lives and discover that Michael's love may still be alive.

Special Features: Select episodes come with commentary and there are two featurettes – one about the final episode and one called "Director's World."

Fox showed some surprising stability in its schedule (our network is growing up) for the 2009-2010 season. But they are bringing in four new comedies, two dramas and a late night Saturday show.

Well ... that happened. Now that House and Cuddy have finally acted on their long-simmering feelings for each other, they can enjoy a happy relationship, right? Au contraire, because this is House we're talking about, and despite last week's gnarly detox, he still has plenty of demons haunting him, including, yes, Amber. Elsewhere, the good, grumpy doc and company are dealing with a patient whose brain is in a war with itself. The left side's battling the right side for control of his personality, which is making his diagnosis and treatment even more challenging.

'The Big Bang Theory' – 2nd season finale (8PM, CBS)

It's no secret, Prison Break is one of those shows that is not afraid to kill characters along the way, even major ones.

Therefore, it will be no surprise to you to learn that more deaths are coming in the final episodes of the series. But did you know that there is one that will be so major that the show's Powers That Be needed to meet face-to-face with the network to get approval?
