Hot Video: 'Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?' Interview With Regis Philbin
by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 5th 2009 6:00AM
Regis Philbin is still a mainstay on morning TV, but remember the good ole days when he had a show in primetime, too? Game show fans rejoice -- 'Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?' is back for a special 10th anniversary 11-episode run (Sunday through Thursday, premiering Sunday, Aug. 9, 8PM ET on ABC).AOL TV sat down with Reege -- who promptly admitted "I never thought I'd do it again" -- to find out exactly why the show went away (four nights a week was "just too much"), why it's back now ("then along came this movie ['Slumdog Millionaire'] ... it sure got people talking about it!") and the celebrity guests stopping by to play for charity (Lauren Conrad tweeted the other day before filming her spot). -- By Maggie Furlong
