Yahoo! TV updates TiVo scheduling features
by Brad Linder, posted Aug 3rd 2007 4:45PM
After a few days of downtime, Yahoo! has updated its TiVo scheduling service. If you're not familiar with the Yahoo! TV feature, registered users can login to browse TV listings online and schedule recordings on their home TiVo box. The new features include:
- Support for Series3 TiVo units. Previously only Series2 boxes were supported. We believe this means you should be able to schedule recordings on the new TiVo HD as well.
- Manage multiple TiVo devices, and chose which box you want to use to record each program.
- Uses the TiVo receiver name that you've set up at TiVo.com.
