Six Reasons Why '24' Has Jumped the You-Know-What
by Allison Waldman, posted Feb 8th 2010 11:00AM

What is going on with Jack Bauer? Have you been watching '24' this season, the first time set in New York City? There were high expectations that this might be the best season yet for '24' because we'd be seeing a lean, mean, older Jack who has been through the wringer and knows all the tricks and turns of the business. Comparisons were made to Jason Bourne, but with the Bauer edge.
Unfortunately, we're not seeing the vim and vigor of 'The Bourne Identity' or any of the other Bourne pictures. We're not even seeing the quality of '24' from seasons past. Instead, '24' has turned into something else entirely -- an empty shell of its former self. It's time to call it a day for '24.' The show has definitely jumped the you-know-what.
America's Next Top Model: The Girl Who Becomes America's Next Top Model (season finale)

(S08E13) If anyone recalls, my wife and I made our picks on who would win America's Next Top Model after watching the first two episodes 13 weeks ago. She chose Jaslene, and I chose Renee.
The thing I failed to mention is that over the course of the season our friendly little competition turned into an epic wager with the victor winning the privilege of pooping in the loser's pillowcase.
Needless to say, I don't think I'll be getting much sleep tonight.
America's Next Top Model: The Girl Who Does Not Want to Dance
by JJ Hawkins, posted May 9th 2007 10:08PM

(S08E11) It seems like only yesterday I began using this space to relentlessly make fun of 13 want-to-be models, and now we find ourselves already down to the final four. I feel a sad, little tear forming in the corner of my eye.
If Brittany were here, she'd probably cry with me.
Four remain. Which one of the girls will become America's Next Top Model?
