Review: Nip/Tuck - Sheila Carlton

Melanie Griffith and Julian McMahon
(S07E04) "I think, in a way, we all feel responsible." - Sean

Just when it looked like we were on our way to a major break-up, Nip/Tuck threw fans a curve ball last night as we head in to the series' final five episodes. For as much as Sean may despise Christian, what he's done, and how he acts, sticking with him for 25 years has left a scar -- Sean may see himself as the opposite of Christian, but the rest of the world views them as one and the same.

Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Hot Towel

(S07E04) "Was there a stipulation on the gift certificate? Three hundred dollars and "take me"?" - Susie

I was afraid this might happen. As exciting as it is, even the long awaited Seinfeld reunion doesn't have the power to sustain an entire season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. After last week's reunion, I expected a lull and with that in mind, there's really no reason to be disappointed because this episode had some very funny moments. Unfortunately, not even Christian Slater's caviar addiction could save the day with such fond memories of last week's landmark half-hour still on my mind.

24: 11:00AM - 12:00PM

Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe O'Brian(S07E04) "I'm not with anyone until someone starts answering some questions." - Jack

As great as it is getting early screeners for a show, believe it or not, there's actually one caveat - especially when you're writing reviews. It forces you to choose your words ever so carefully, respecting the fact that not everyone has seen what you have. When it comes to 24, that's no easy task. Trust me - it wasn't easy knowing the whole truth about Tony while writing about the first hour of this season. One can only drop little hints like "humongous twist" and "there's more to this" so many times before you start to sound like a know-it-all jerk.

That being said, I can breathe a sigh of relief now because I'm caught up with the rest of the world and the truth - the whole humongous twist truth - is finally out.

24 season seven - An early look

24 - Season 7
Tick, tock, tick, tock - it's been a while, but Jack is back and all is right with the world. Well... technically not all is right and that's why Jack is back but you get what I'm saying. After waiting over a year for a new season of 24 (fans around the world have been heard uttering Bauer-esque quips like "son of a bitch" for months now), the moment has finally arrived - the two night, four hour premiere kicks off this Sunday, January 11th, at 8PM ET on FOX. I've screened the first four hours of the season and trust me - the wait for Bauer's return was well worth it.

The Shield: Genocide

Michael Chiklis and CCH Pounder(S07E04) "Cut off the head and the tentacles get frisky - it's a risk." - Vic

Things are starting to heat up in the Mexican/Armenian feud! While it still astonishes me that neither Pezuela nor Rezian seem to realize how they're being played so perfectly by Vic, I'm still in awe of the entire situation. Vic has got each them believing his lies so fully that it finally pushed Pezuela to go as far as burning two of Rezian's lieutenants alive. Not that Pezuela hasn't killed before, but c'mon - Vic is good. Realistically, that's two less people who know about the money train hit.

It's a huge mess and even though we're seeing glimmers of an end game, I think it's safe to say that it won't be that easy. Credit to Shawn Ryan and Co. for giving us The Shield that long-time fans are accustomed to. Four episodes into the final season and it's clear Ryan didn't reinvent the wheel, which is why I know that fooling Rezian and Pezuela can't be this easy for much longer.
