'Sex and the City' Might Head Back to TV, 'Radiohead' to Play 'SNL' Season Premiere and More TV News
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 15th 2011 11:45AM
After the second 'Sex and the City' movie turned out kind of horribly (don't argue, you know deep down it's true), all 'SATC'-related attention turned toward the rumored prequel movie, which would star anyone from Blake Lively to Elizabeth Olsen, depending on which article you read. Now, the latest 'SATC' buzz is saying the show could return to its original medium -- television.
According to Britain's Daily Mail (via Vulture), Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha could return for a seventh season of the hit series.
A source told the paper, "Ultimately Darren Star -- the man who created the hit series -- will have the overall say, but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise in."
As with all 'SATC' rumors, we're not holding our breath.

'Sex and the City's' Michael Patrick King Headed Back to Primetime
by Kim Potts, posted Apr 30th 2010 9:15AM
He's certainly experienced success on the big screen with the 'Sex and the City' movie (which grossed more than $400 million, worldwide), but 'SATC' series producer Michael Patrick King apparently missed TV land.Deadline reports that King is about to finalize a multi-year "mega deal" with Warner Bros. Television that will have him creating his own TV production company at WBTV, where he'll help foster a group of writers and develop a slate of new TV series.
King's return to the tube is scheduled for June, when he's finished promoting 'Sex and the City 2,' the May 27 sequel to 2008's first 'SATC' big-screen effort.
