Jeff Goldblum and Sarah Silverman Get Dirty on 'The League' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 18th 2011 6:30AM
'The League' (Thu., 10:30PM ET on FX) treated us to two fun guest stars who came together in a very disturbing way during an even more disturbing Thanksgiving dinner. It turns out Ruxin's dad, played by Jeff Goldblum, is just like him in almost every way. And we thought one Ruxin was bad.But as bad as it was seeing double, it was nothing to what Andre went through when his sister, played by Sarah Silverman, showed up and confirmed what the guys have been telling him for years ... except for Ruxin. She taught them everything they know about sex, and in fact offered to give Kevin a refresher course when she found out Jenny wasn't as satisfied as she should have been.
What to Watch: April 26 - May 2

Law & Order: SVU - Tuesday April 27, 10 pm, CTV/NBC
NBC must have heard I was complaining about the 'Law & Order' franchise and decided they had to surprise me with a wicked little treat. So they hired Sharon Stone for a guest role as Stabler's ex-partner, now an ADA named Jo Malone. Sharon sticks around for four episodes and I do sincerely hope the writers make full use of her ability to play smart snarky women you don't necessarily like, but respect.
Sarah Silverman and Dave Price Share an Intimate Moment (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 20th 2010 12:30PM
Sarah Silverman dropped by 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS) to promote her memoir 'The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee' and learned that weatherman Dave Price may be harboring a secret crush. "Didn't you tell me that Sarah was your secret crush, like, your entire life?" Maggie Rodriguez asked Price.
"I never told you that," Price replied quietly. And yet, Price and Silverman then lean suggestively toward each other as if to kiss with Rodriguez sandwiched in the middle.

Sarah Shot by a Nazi on 'The Sarah Silverman Program' (VIDEO)

Comedienne Sarah Silverman once Tweeted: "I know Nazis are evil, but you have to admit they're cute when they're super little or elderly or sleeping." Fast forward to last night's 'The Sarah Silverman Program' (Thu., 12AM ET on COM) and Nazis, well... not so delightful.Watch the video after the jump.
Brian Posehn Thinks 'The Sarah Silverman Program' Is Done
by Nick Zaino, posted Apr 13th 2010 2:03PM
Brian, one half of the gay couple Brian and Steve on 'The Sarah Silverman Program,' is a big fuzzy nerd. Which is okay, because that's also the personality of the man who plays him, Brian Posehn. Posehn is a zombie-loving metalhead, a fan of cartoons and comic books, and a hilarious stand-up comedian. His new album, 'Fart & Wiener Jokes,' is out April 27th, featuring a shirtless, buffed up Posehn on the cover in a heap of comedy carnage (he says he wanted it to look like a Man O' War album).
We almost didn't get to see Brian and Steve again this year. Silverman and Comedy Central were at odds over the show's budget, until the LOGO network came in and threw in more money to make the production possible. Posehn isn't sure there will be a season four, but he's got plenty of other projects on tap (a possible spinoff for Brian and Steve, a faux reality show with party rockers Steel Panther, and a new Cartoon Network show).
'The Simpsons' - 'Stealing First Base' Recap
by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 22nd 2010 5:25AM
(S21E15) Our overly litigious society comes under fire in this week's installment of 'The Simpsons,' when a first kiss leads to zero tolerance on touching of any kind at the school. The new policy led to some pretty hilariously awkward moments later in the episode.Bart learned the complexities of women and relationships while Lisa got a major boost in her self-esteem from Flotus1, a commenter on her gardening blog who was revealed to be someone everyone knows: the First Lady of the United States. The episode focused almost entirely on the school, and was incredibly entertaining throughout; definitely one of the strongest installments of the season so far.
So many of the gags and little jokes worked, like Lisa's teacher deriding her overachiever tendencies, Nelson taking a blind kid under his wing and even Bart and Nikki's discussion on proper vampires.
Sarah Silverman Pees on a Mailbox (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 19th 2010 4:01AM
We're really glad we don't live in Sarah Silverman's neighborhood because, apparently, anything goes and it's usually TMI.After seeing her dog pee on a mailbox, she decides that hey, why can't she pee on a mailbox, too? After all, the dog can pee anywhere, and she's the dog's boss.
We'll let you draw your own conclusions about what it must be like inside Silverman's mind. If it doesn't repulse you, watch 'The Sarah Silverman Program' (Thu., 10:30PM ET on COM).

What to Watch March 15 - 21

Kids in the Hall: Death Comes to Town - Tuesday March 16, 9 pm, CBC
True story: When I was in high school, I was lucky enough to be invited on a date by the new guy at school. His dad worked with CBC and our date was to be a live taping of the original 'Kids in the Hall' sketch show. My date treated me to a large soda before the show and once seated, we discovered we were not allowed to get up again until taping concluded. Long story short: I peed my pants I laughed so hard. Needless to say, I didn't get a second date. Having the Kids back on TV has been a blast, and hopefully this final episode of 'Death Comes to Town' isn't the last time we'll see them reunited.
Sarah Silverman Sings About the May Kadoody Campaign (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 26th 2010 4:03AM
When she's not you-know-whating Matt Damon, Sarah Silverman is making a difference in the world by singing about the May Kadoody campaign on 'The Sarah Silverman Program' (Thu., 10:30PM ET on COM).She's got plenty of supporters on hand to help, because these people really want to change the course of history. She almost gets a smack in the head with a trombone, but hey, it's for the children.

Jerry Seinfeld Gets Madonna for 'The Marriage Ref'
by Allison Waldman, posted Feb 14th 2010 1:00PM
This is rich. One of the celebrity judges on Jerry Seinfeld's new reality show, 'The Marriage Ref' will be Madonna. That's right. Madonna. How funny is that? For advice on dancing or pop sings or shocking the public or even cone-shaped bras, Madonna would be the authority to go to. However, is she really the person you'd go to for marital advice?Still, it's a big time booking for Seinfeld's new show. She's a star. And when you consider that Alec Baldwin is another choice for marriage judge, the requirement for appearing on the show is not personal success with marital relations. Lately, Alec Baldwin has been the poster boy for how not to handle joint custody of a child post-divorce!
New TV DVDs for Feb. 9: 'JAG,' 'Sarah Silverman' and More
by Scott Harris, posted Feb 9th 2010 12:00PM
Ah, Valentine's Day. Yes, this weekend is the perfect time for candies and flowers and snuggling up on the couch with that special someone to share in the romantic glow of your giant HDTV as you watch the flashing neon signs of the new 'Vega$' DVD. Okay, so maybe romance is dead after all, because judging from this week's pre-Valentine releases, Hollywood isn't in a very loving mood. But while nothing says "be mine" like giving your significant other a complete set of 'JAG,' we thought we'd go ahead and present our Singles guide to the top DVD issues of the week. Because as long as you have 'Gary Unmarried' at your fingertips, you'll never be alone.
No Marriage for Sarah Silverman Until Gay Marriage is Legal (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 4th 2010 3:30PM
Marriage just isn't an option for Sarah Silverman, at least not until gays have the legal right to marry, the actress/comedian said on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). "If you're for equal rights, why would you get married right now? It's like joining a country club that doesn't allow blacks or Jews. There's no difference," Silverman said."

Sarah Silverman Talks Season Three and More
by Nick Zaino, posted Feb 4th 2010 11:04AM
It may not have seemed that Sarah Silverman was busy in 2009, especially since the last time we saw 'The Sarah Silverman Program' on Comedy Central was December of 2008. But she was busy behind the scenes.Silverman filmed 'Saint John of Las Vegas' with Steve Buscemi, which played the festival circuit last year and gets a wider release this year, 'Peep World' with Michael C. Hall and Rainn Wilson, and wrote her memoir, 'The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee,' which is due in April.
Silverman was also negotiating with Comedy Central for 'The Sarah Silverman Program.' Comedy Central wanted to cut her budget from $1.1 million per episode to $850,000, which was a non-starter for Silverman and her partners.
What to Watch: February 4

'The Sarah Silverman Program' (10:30PM, Comedy Central) season 3 premiereShe's back and naughtier than ever! This season will find Sarah meeting up with her imaginary childhood friend (guest star Andy Samberg), telling her pals, gay couple Brian and Steve, that they have hygiene issues, writing a children's book and taking on a Nazi war criminal played by Emmy winner Ed Asner. And tonight's premiere finds Sarah in one of her most outrageous situations ever, as she comes to believe that she was born with both male and female genitalia. How does she, um, handle, the situation? Let's just say it involves a moustache, a unibrow and the grossest necklace you've ever seen in primetime.
'Sarah Silverman' and 'Demetri Martin' Get Return Dates
by Scott Harris, posted Dec 28th 2009 11:23AM
Here's hoping Matt Damon has some space on his DVR, because it looks like he'll need it this February. No, not for the announcement of the Oscar nominations, but for something far more important: the return of Sarah Silverman.Yes, according to TV Guide, Comedy Central has finally scheduled the third season premiere for 'The Sarah Silverman Program,' which will return to the airwaves on February 4 in the 10:30PM time slot. Silverman, who, of course, famously boasted of a (fictional) relationship with Damon on 'Jimmy Kimmel Show!,' has been off the air for well over a year while the network sorted out details of the show's return.
