This is the age of personalized entertainment on demand. It's also the age of talking wads of meat and animated fart jokes. Finally, all of that can now come together on your home DVD player.Adult Swim fans can now go online and create a disc full of their favorite episodes from the channel's top shows with the Build Your Custom DVD tool.
For $20, you get 110 minutes worth of space to build a DVD. You can choose any of the available episodes from such series as Venture Brothers (right), Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Sealab 2021. After arranging them in your preferred order, you give your DVD a name, description and cover art before paying for it and burning your unique creation.
Sealab 2021 season four out in August
by Adam Finley, posted May 9th 2006 12:05PM
I've said here before that despite not always liking what Adult Swim offers, I like even better the idea of the network trying out different shows with varying styles to see what works and what doesn't. Or, even better, to keep trying something even when it doesn't catch on right away. However, my college years and the few years following were to me the best time to tune into Adult Swim. A night of Space Ghost, The Brak Show, and Sealab 2021 was always a good time. The fourth season of Sealab 2021 will be out on DVD on August 15. This particular season, the show's second to the last, is also not a favorite among the more diehard fans of the show, as it was the second season following the death of Harry Goz, the voice of Captain Murphy. Admittedly, Goz brought a lot to the series, and the episode where he becomes trapped under a soda machine was by far the best one, but I think the show maintained its off-kilter sense of humor just fine throughout its run.TV Squad Hot Topics
