'Dancing With the Stars' Premiere Soars in Ratings

'Dancing With the Stars' had all the right moves in last night's ratings dance-off.According to the NY Times' Media Decoder blog, the two-hour season 10 premiere drew an incredible 23.9 million viewers and a 6.3 rating in the coveted 18-49 demo, making it the most-watched episode of 'DWTS' since Nov. 2007. That number is also up about 6 million viewers from last fall's season 9 premiere, which averaged 17.5 million viewers.
Brooke Burke to Co-Host 'Dancing With the Stars'

Brooke Burke has been named the new co-host of 'Dancing With the Stars.'According to Variety, Burke will join the show when it returns for its 10th season on March 22. She'll take over for Samantha Harris, who announced her departure earlier this year.
Melissa Rycroft, Vanessa Minnillo and Mel B. were also up for the gig, according to the report.
'Dancing With the Stars' 2010 Lineup: DWTS Season 10 Cast Revealed

ABC has unveiled the official cast of 'Dancing With the Stars' season 10, which premieres Mon., Mar. 22 at 8PM.Among the famous faces headed to the ballroom are 'Baywatch' beauty Pamela Anderson, astronaut Buzz Aldrin (whom host Tom Bergeron referred to as the "original moonwalker") and -- wait for it -- reality star Kate Gosselin.
Following in the footsteps of Kelly Monaco and Cameron Mathison, soap hunk Aiden Turner ('All My Children') will also show off his moves, as will Olympic superstar Evan Lysacek, who will look to become the next Gold medalist-turned-'Dancing' champion, a la Apolo Anton Ohno, Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson.
Rounding out the cast are Erin Andrews of ESPN, Shannen Doherty ('90210'), funnywoman Niecy Nash ('Reno 911!') singer Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, astronaut Buzz Aldrin (whom host Tom Bergeron described as the "original moonwalker") and, in a surprise reveal, the 'Bachelor' himself, Jake Pavelka.
