Sebastian Roché Talks 'Supernatural' Season Finale, Fan Encounters & More
by Laura Prudom, posted May 20th 2011 10:30AM
From terrorist on 'General Hospital' to rogue angel on the CW's 'Supernatural,' Sebastian Roché has made a career out of being unpredictable. After spending his formative years travelling the world on a sailboat with his family (yes, really), Roché graduated to theater, film and television work, first in his native France, and then on American shores.
As the charismatic Balthazar on the spooky genre show, Roché has made a habit of popping in to cause mischief and mayhem for the Winchester brothers -- for good and for ill. His allegiances will truly be tested in tonight's two-hour season finale (8PM ET on the CW) when Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) find themselves literally caught between heaven and hell, and Crowley and Castiel's alliance puts Balthazar in a very tenuous situation.
Join us after the jump to read what Roché had to say about the season finale (not much!), his first experience with the 'Supernatural' fans and how exactly one goes about getting into character to play an angel. Mild spoilers ahead.
Review: Fringe - Grey Matters

(S02E10) "I don't do Valium nearly enough. I'll have 50 milligrams please." - Walter
More Walterisms like the one above, as well as a few reveals and a nice cliff-hanger into the second part of this season, which picks up January 14. So far, every episode in this season of Fringe has psyched me up for what's to come, whether it's a seemingly stand-alone ep or something that carries us forward into the alternative universe. Things don't sound too good over there. In fact, it sounds a little apocalyptic. Now I'm curious to take a look myself.
Fringe casts General Hospital villain Sebastian Roche
by Allison Waldman, posted Oct 22nd 2009 11:10AM
When you want to up the ante on a drama, create a great villain. To this day, the best James Bond movies have always been the ones with great villains. Fox's sci-fi drama Fringe is buying into that theory, because they've gone out and hired an actor who excels at playing evil. Fringe has cast Sebastian Roche in a recurring role as a new nemesis. If you saw Roche on General Hospital, you know he's brilliant. His Fringe character doesn't have a name yet -- and least not one that they've released -- but the storyline is that he's from another dimension, not entirely human or android, and he's on a mission. He's a soldier who's supposed to collect data to open a "stable door to the other side."
Could it be an alternate universe? A parallel dimension? Some kind of time warp? The possibilities are wide open when it comes to Fringe.
