Seth Rogen Plays Porn Director Dirty Randy on 'The League' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 7th 2011 6:30AM
Seth Rogen, 'The League'Andre was definitely made to suffer even beyond what he did in the off-season by the end of this season premiere of 'The League' (Thu., 10:30PM ET on FX). The oft-mentioned but never seen Dirty Randy finally made an appearance, and he bears an eery resemblance to Seth Rogen with a sweet handlebar mustache.

For the final punishment for coming in last the prior season, the gang decided to have Dirty Randy shoot a porn film in Andre's apartment. He had plenty of credentials, including a foul version of 'Schindler's List,' though we almost wish we didn't know his reason for the "artful" decision to film it in black-and-white.

Top 5 Clips of the Week: Nancy Grace Nip Slip, Urkel in the 'House' & More (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Oct 2nd 2011 1:30PM

This week in TV clips was at times horrifying, but ended on a positive note. Last week's 'X Factor Flashing' gave way to the Nancy Grace nip slip. And then Andy Rooney retired, which inspired outpouring of mash-ups saluting his career in grumpy old man musings. Both Ed Helms and Seth Rogen got Jersey Turnpiked by the 'Jersey Shore.' But then Jaleel White came back into our TV lives and set everything back right in the world.

Check out some of our favorite clips from the week that was in TV and vote for your favorite in our weekly poll.

Stewart Talks About Seth Rogen's Film Premiering During Rosh Hashanah (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 28th 2011 3:15AM
Seth Rogen, 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart'Apparently, Jon Stewart felt he needed to spread the guilt a bit with guest Seth Rogen on 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central). According to him, he got a disapproving reaction from an audience member when he told her he had no plans for Rosh Hashanah, or the Jewish New Year.

This year, it will run from sunset Thursday, September 28 through nightfall on Saturday, September 30. Right smack in the middle of that is when Rogen's new film, '50/50' premieres.

"Are other people's Jewish mothers giving you a problem for that?" Stewart asked Rogen. He then turned to the woman who'd seemed disappointed in his lack of plans and asked her, "Are you bummed out at him for this?"

Seth Rogen Respects 'Jersey Shore' Cast for Risking Their Lives (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 27th 2011 3:30AM
Seth Rogen, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Seth Rogen got to experience partying with the cast of 'Jersey Shore' and he lived to talk about it on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS). There he admitted that the experience gave him a respect for what they do.

"I respect them like I respect a stunt man, like a rodeo clown or something like that," he explained. "Because they are putting themselves in physical danger for our entertainment."

He cited the excessive drinking of things no one should consume and the excessive bedding of things no one should bed. That puts them at risk for diseases and alcohol poisoning, and they do it all for us. Kind of puts what they do on that show in a whole new light, doesn't it?

Seth Rogen, Andy Cohen and Hoda Discuss Kim Delaney's Rambling Speech (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 26th 2011 4:30PM
'Today' (weekdays, 9AM ET on NBC) gathered Seth Rogen, Andy Cohen and Hoda Kotb to discuss the possible causes of 'Army Wives' star Kim Delaney's rambling Liberty Medal Award Ceremony speech. The actress was supposed to be introducing former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, but got yanked off the stage after slurring her words and appearing to be drunk.

The group kicked around a few different theories about her discombobulation. The first was a teleprompter malfunction, something that could disrupt even the most seasoned public speakers. The most likely cause, clearly, is booze, as Delaney has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in the past. A third possibility was that she may have had some kind of stroke, like CBS reporter Serene Branson suffered on-air in February, but we don't think that's too likely.

Rogen combined two schools of thought to put a nice bow on the segment. "Every time I can't read a teleprompter I get really drunk," he joked.

Steve Martin Crashes Alec Baldwin's Record-Setting 'SNL' Hosting Stint (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 26th 2011 3:00AM
Alec Baldwin & Steve Martin, 'Saturday Night Live'When it was realized that Alec Baldwin hosting this season premiere of 'Saturday Night Live' (Sat., 11:30PM ET on NBC) would give him the all-time hosting record over Steve Martin, we all assumed that Martin would make an appearance. The question was how and when.

Well, he showed up right away, during Baldwin's monologue touting his 16th time hosting. Martin was surprisingly gracious, and only wanted to make sure Baldwin wasn't using any performance enhancing drugs.

So they staged a fake drug test, with Martin analyzing Baldwin's urine by swishing it in his mouth -- he only detected Cialis. It was a fun bit, but much tamer than perhaps we would have expected. No jealousy or bitterness from Martin? We did, however, love when he asked surprise guest Seth Rogen if his being there counted as hosting. It doesn't.

by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 17th 2011 3:28AM
Seth Rogen, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Hey, did you wake up today saying you wished you knew more about just how hairy of a guy Seth Rogen is? If so, 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:25AM ET on CBS) has got you covered. After all, Craig Ferguson is known for conversations that can hit virtually any topic on any given night.

All it takes is a certain word or comment from the guest to get him onto a new topic. "The Rogens are of Russian descent, yeah, as most big, hairy, Jewish guys are," Rogen said. Did you find the word?

"Are you very hairy underneath there?" Ferguson asked, and suddenly we know that Rogen may have more in common with Wookiees than the rest of us. Certainly his laugh reminds us of Chewbacca's bark.

Seth Rogen Talks Porn on 'Lopez Tonight'The now-engaged Seth Rogen had "a ton" of porn back in his single days. He would even use a stack of it as a side table, he joked. Once he had a girl, though, it was time to pay it forward.

"You don't want to just throw away porn -- that's like wasting food," he said on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS). Rogen recalled that he found his first porn "in a bag in a park somewhere ... So I put all my porn in a bag, and I left it in a school park."

Seth Rogen: An Elderly Woman Once Touched My Junk (VIDEO)

Seth Rogen Recounts Drunken Night on 'Jimmy Kimmel'A creepy experience as a drunken 16-year-old taught Seth Rogen to be a responsible drinker (in public, at least). On New Year's Eve, he got "hammered" and wondered aimlessly through a huge crowd.

Rogen saw an elderly woman "approaching me with her hand extended, and she just kinda walked and put her hand right on my testicles," he recounted on 'Jimmy Kimmy Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC). "And then she just kinda gave 'em a jiggle, and then she just kind of walked on her way."

The actor said, "Ever since then, I can't allow myself to get that drunk in public lest a 60-year-old woman will molest my balls."

Seth Rogen Talks of Proposing to His Near-Naked Girlfriend on 'The Tonight Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jan 13th 2011 2:26AM
Seth Rogen, 'The Tonight Show'Calling all men who will soon be proposing to their girlfriends. Listen carefully to the words of yon Seth Rogen on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM on NBC). For his is a cautionary tale. His is a lesson in how not to propose to the woman you love.

Perhaps, like our poor Mr. Rogen, it will have slipped your mind that the story of your proposal is one that people will want to hear again and again.

For fear of losing the ring once acquired, Rogen scrapped his elaborate plans and ran upstairs to propose to his lovely girlfriend right away.

"She happened to only be in her underpants," he said, noting specifically that her upper body was bare.

"I didn't think I'd be telling it so much when I did it," Rogen lamented. "Her parents have heard me tell the story, and her dad's not happy about it.

Seth Rogen Describes His Topless Engagement (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Jan 11th 2011 12:40PM
Seth Rogen discusses his topless engagement on 'Live With Regis and Kelly'Seth Rogen gave the details of his "topless" engagement today on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (Weekdays, Syndicated). Rogen was nervous about popping the question, like any normal bachelor would be. But his nervousness was so intense that it messed with his grand proposal plans.

"I had some plans," said Rogen, "I was going to maybe take her to Big Sur or something like that. But the second I got the ring, I became so horrified that I would lose it or I would do something stupid with it that I literally gave it to her within like three hours of getting it. All plans went out the window."

Rogen came home and proposed while his bride-to-be was changing in their closet. He thought of trying to stop, but she had already seen the ring box in his hands, and he had to plow forward. "So it's a topless engagement," he said. Sounds like it could have been a deleted scene from any number of Seth Rogen movies.

Brian Williams tortures Kathie Lee and Hoda with a doughnut on Today, 1/7/11Now that 2011 is a week old, many people have already either broken or shelved their New Year's Resolutions. You know what we're talking about: you've stopped going to the gym, and you've drowned your guilt in a sleeve or two of Fig Newtons. We understand; we've all been there.

But it seems that some prominent daytime hosts -- and one very funny late night guest -- are determined to make sure their viewers are sticking to those resolutions, or just whatever exercise program they've set up for themselves.

Let's start with Ellen DeGeneres. Today on her nationally-syndicated talk show, she's conducting the entire show from a recumbent bike, and guests Ryan Gossling and Camille Grammer joined her.
