Shaquille O'Neal's girlfriend is very beautiful, but Jimmy Kimmel wasn't wrong when he described a photo of the pair on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) by saying, "It looks to me as if you're taking your daughter to kindergarten."

The stark difference in their side made it even more unbelievable when O'Neal claimed she could pick him up and carry him on her back. So he brought her out on the stage and proved that she could not only pick him up, but she could walk with him.

Along with the good news that 'So You Think You Can Dance' (and fiercely fabulous host Cat Deely) has finally been recognized by the Emmy Awards comes the first all-star announcement of season 8.

Judge/executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told TV Guide that the first dancer returning to the show is none other than Chelsie Hightower, current 'Dancing With the Stars' pro. "We're delighted she's coming back from 'Dancing With the Stars' for us," he told the site.

The move isn't permanent, though -- "She'll be going back to them, of course," he admitted.

When Kevin Hart started cracking jokes on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) about how Shaquille O'Neal has been showing up in the most unexpected places since his retirement, he didn't really think through the fact that one of those places was 'The Tonight Show.'

"I saw him at Home Depot two weeks ago," Hart said. "He wasn't even shopping. He was just helping people put stuff in their car. 'I'm Shaq. I don't got nothing to do. You want me to grab it. I'll help you.'"

Even though you could almost see it coming, it was still funny when Shaq came out and hoisted Hart into the air like a child.

The post-season has arrived for the National Basketball Association. The NBA Playoffs are upon us, starting today on ABC and ESPN, and tomorrow night on TNT, and that means the networks are shifting into overdrive to present all the games, all the action, and -- especially -- all the stars to the viewing public. Shaq, Kobe, LeBron, Dwayne, Dirk, Rajon ... if you're a fan, you don't need the last names. That's how big the star power is for NBA elite players.

It's perhaps even bigger than the NFL or any other major league. And that's one reason why the NBA is not the number one sport in America, but it is the number one marketed sport. That's a point illustrated in the new promo for the TNT broadcasts featuring music and movie stars Jamie Foxx and Justin Timberlake extolling the virtues of the NBA playoffs.

It's an invasion of the wives!

On television, women are front and center, not just standing behind their men. There are the 'Desperate Housewives,' the 'Real Housewives' around the country, the 'Good Wife' ... Now comes 'Basketball Wives,' from creator/executive producer Shaunie O'Neal (ex-wife to Shaquille).

'Basketball Wives' (premiering Sun., April 11 at 10PM ET) follows the wives, girlfriends and significant others of NBA players. O'Neal spoke to AOL TV about why she created the show, what Shaq thinks about it and the Tiger Woods scandal.

Heads up: Shaq is coming back to ABC.

Variety is reporting that the network has renewed the summer reality series 'Shaq Vs.' for a second season. Expect Shaquille O'Neal to reprise his role as challenger against a host of different professional athletes in their own sports, as well as some new competitions outside his usual realm, including competitive eating and, of all things, spelling bees.

Ever wonder what it's like behind the scenes for a professional basketball player's wife? Well, here's your chance to find out.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, VH1 is answering that call with a new series called 'Basketball Wives,' putting Shaquille O'Neal's wife Shaunie on center court.

Joining her will be the wives and girlfriends of NBA stars Eric Williams, Antoine Walker, Jermaine O'Neal and Udonis Haslem. Yet not in the mix is probably the most famous NBA wife: 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria Parker, who is married to San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker.

I can't help but think of the old "Bo Knows" commercials, where professional baseball and football player Bo Jackson showed us that he could do literally anything. Now, it's the big man's turn. Shaquille O'Neal stars in Shaq Vs., where the basketball star shows his own diversity by taking on the likes of Michael Phelps and Albert Pujols.

The idea is that Shaq will take on the guest athlete's sport, meaning he'll swim laps with Phelps and go to bat against Pujols. The ABC series premieres Tuesday, August 18 at 9 PM, but there's no word as to how many episodes they're signed up for. If it's a huge hit, though, you have to think they're going to need to find more athletes and more challenges for Shaq.

Can he Trade powerslams with Randy Orton? Pump more steroids than Manny Ramirez? Make a better blacklight sex tape than Paris Hilton? Get more tabloid headlines than the Gosselins? The real challenge would be if Shaq starts taking on actors in their chosen field.
