Denis Leary wants some of Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl money on 'The View'Before she was a 'Real Housewife of New York City' or a millionaire entrepreneur, Bethenny Frankel was a cook for the show 'Rescue Me.' Tuesday on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC), 'Rescue Me' star Denis Leary and Frankel were reunited, and Leary reminded her of a particular nickname he thinks gives him a claim to a slice of Frankel's "Skinnygirl" cocktail empire, which she sold for $120 million in April.

"I want a cut on the 120 million," said Leary. "First of all, I always talk about myself, and you probably remember this, I used to refer to myself as 'The Skinny Bitch.' That's my nickname for myself. Okay?" No dice. Frankel reminded him her imprint is Skinnygirl, not bitch. Leary said he'd settle for just a million.

Bethenny Decides to Sell SkinnyGirl for Big Money on Season Finale of 'Ever After' (VIDEO)

Bethenny Frankel, 'Bethenny Ever After'Bethenny Frankel premiered the SkinnyGirl brand in 2009, and now on the season finale of 'Bethenny Every After' (Mon., 10PM ET on Bravo) she was contemplating whether to sell.

When she and her husband Jason sat down to talk about it, he described the offer by telling Bethenny "You're gonna be a very rich woman." It was the culminating moment of all her work, and she vowed to go through with it because she never allows herself to celebrate.

"I want Skinny Girls coming out of the faucets," Bethenny said. "You will be flushing the toilet bowl with Skinny Girls swirling around it, okay."

Bethenny and Jason Are 'Making Our Dreams Come True' on 'Ever After' (VIDEO)

Jason & Bethenny, 'Bethenny Ever After'It was like a remake of 'Laverne & Shirley' on 'Bethenny Ever After' (Mon., 10PM ET on Bravo) this week. Only instead of working at Shotz Brewery, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy were touring Frankel's SkinnyGirl wine factory.

Nevertheless, they proved to be on the same page, or at least of a certain generation, when Frankel shouted out "Shlemiel!" Hoppy immediately responded with "Schlimazel!"

It's only a shame Bravo didn't dole out the cash to get the actual theme music from 'Laverne & Shirley,' as it would have added so much more to the classic imagery Frankel and Hoppy were creating throughout the factory. We were waiting for a glove to go by on top of a bottle.

Buh-bye Housewives! Bethenny scores her own show

by Allison Waldman, posted Jul 16th 2009 1:29PM
bethenny_frankel_skinny_BravoThe way I see it, Bethenny Frankel was the star of The Real Housewives of New York City ... even though she wasn't a housewife. What was she doing on the show in the first place? Anyway, she was the most dynamic of the group and with her interests in fashion, food and partying, she had the most to offer viewers. The powers that be have seen what I did because Bethenny Frankel is getting her own Bravo show.

Starting this fall, Bethenny will be front and center in a new show called Skinny & the City. As you'd expect, she will not be coming back to The Real Housewives of New York City -- however, she might not be the only one out because rumor has it that the ladies have all been looking for a substantial pay raise.
