Ex-Spice Girl Mel B Gets Sexy With the Pussycat Dolls (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Sep 7th 2010 12:47AM
Gosh, they sure seem to be handing out a lot of reality shows these days, don't they? And our very latest one is 'Mel B: It's a Scary World' (Sun., 9PM ET on Style). Mel B -- or Melanie Brown, if you'd like her full name -- first gained fame as a member of the Spice Girls. Since the Spice Girls broke up, she's been doing ... um, stuff, probably. Now she has her own reality series, for whatever reason. This is how things work these days.

On the premiere episode of the show, Mel B appeared in a live burlesque act along with the Pussycat Dolls. She slightly panicked before the show, practicing her moves in front of Pussycat Doll founder Robin Antin, during the only rehearsal before the performance. Would Mel be okay, in spite of her nerves?

I believe the diversity and dedication that the pageant brings inspires and empowers young women across the globe." Springer, host of the hit summer show America's Got Talent, is also happy to take on the hosting duties. He says, ""This is obviously a great honor and getting to work alongside Mel B makes it even better."

The competition will feature contestants from eighty countries. Each pageant hopeful will be judged on three categories: swimsuit (the eye-candy category), evening gown (the shameless endorsement category) , and interview (the "We swear, we didn't just want to see them in swimsuits." category). victoria beckhamNBC considered Monday night's broadcast of Victoria Beckham: Coming to America a success. So much so, in fact, that the network is re-airing the one-hour special tonight (10 pm) with new footage. The net also shot some new video with Beckham that has her "hosting" tonight's comedy line-up, which includes repeats of My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, The Office, and Scrubs.

Report: Posh Spice's reality is coming to NBC

by Anna Johns, posted Feb 27th 2007 7:02PM
victoria beckham; david beckhamVictoria Beckham is funny? This London newspaper is confirming rumors that Victoria (perhaps better known to Americans as Posh Spice) has signed a deal to star in her own reality show for NBC. It'll be all about her move from Europe to the United States, as her husband, soccer star David Beckham, starts up with the Los Angeles Galaxy. Her manager, Simon Fuller, tells the press that it's a tongue-in-cheek show because, hey, "She's a funny lady".

Now, I don't know if you look at People magazine's Star Tracks every day like I do, but "fun" would probably be the last word I would use to describe Victoria Beckham. First of all, she never smiles. She also appears extremely uptight and full of herself (more than your typical celebrity). Maybe the ice-cold stares are a mask for a woman with a very dry wit. Her manager says it's a great opportunity for people to discover her personality. I have to admit that I am intrigued because I was pretty positive she was a robot.

Does anybody want to watch this?

Does Posh Spice want Paula Abdul's Idol job?

by Liz Finn-Arnold, posted Feb 19th 2007 6:35PM
Victoria BeckhamIf we are to believe every rumor we hear in Hollywood, then every guy is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby, and every girl wants Paula Abdul's cushy Idol judging job.

Move over Courtney and Belinda. This week it's Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham who is hoping for Paula's dismissal. According to this exclusive, replacing Paula with Posh is the brainchild of Beckham's manager, Simon Fuller, who also serves as Idol's Executive Producer.

But Paula is not going anywhere as long Simon Cowell remains on her side. Victoria's bid for a spot on the high-profile TV juggernaut was apparently blocked by Cowell.

Wait. Do the Beckhams even live in reality?

by Anna Johns, posted Jan 25th 2007 11:09AM
david beckham; victoria beckham; posh spiceWhat would make the Beckhams feel more like Americans? Their own reality TV show, of course! Fox has reportedly offered David and Victoria Beckham their own reality show about their move to America (David will play soccer for the Los Angeles Galaxy).

Are the Beckhams above that kind of thing? Posh seems like she's a tad bit on the snooty side and also seems like she cannot function like a normal human being. She's always dressed to the nines and never, ever smiles. I'm not sure if she can even speak... or think.

One reason they may do it, according to The Sun, is to make them more famous over here. In Europe, they're practically royalty but Americans don't care much for soccer or stuck-up former Spice Girls. Still, I'd like to know what it is Victoria Beckham does all day.
