Staff Crush: Seeley Booth of 'Bones'

Words cannot describe my intense crush on Seeley Booth -- the kickass FBI agent partnered with a forensic anthropologist on 'Bones.' A girl's got to try, though.

What I adore about Booth (David Boreanaz) is his many superior qualities. He's protective; he took a bullet for Bones. He's sensitive; he gets upset when she tells his boss he thinks a hardboiled egg looks like an eye. He has a sense of honor and duty; the reason he became FBI agent was to catch as many murderers as he can to make up for killing 50 people as a sniper in the Army Rangers.

I am the envy of all my friends. I have DirecTV.

Well, let me clarify. I am the envy of all my 'Friday Night Lights'-loving friends, because having DirecTV means that for the past few months I've gotten to watch new episodes of 'FNL' months before they air on NBC. Not since Jordan Catalano has a fictional teenage boy caused my heart rate to flutter so, like some epileptic hummingbird on a bender.

But perhaps my gushing all over your computer screen isn't sufficient. How do I love Tim Riggins? Let me count the ways.

Like a generation of kids who came of age in the mid 1990s, 'Saved by the Bell's' Kelly Kapowski was the first girl -- fictional or otherwise -- that I ever had a crush on. This was not because she was the captain of the cheerleading team, a waitress at The Max or one of the three females at Bayside High graced with a speaking role.

No. It was because Tiffani Amber Thiessen was smokin' hot. Even at an age where I remained mystified by the vagaries of long division and writing in cursive, this much I knew for sure.

Staff Crush: James Franco

James FrancoIn honor of Valentine's Day, AOL TV's staff will be revealing their crushes all week.

We all know that James Franco is good-looking. In fact, there have been studies to prove it.

But his looks, however wonderful, are just a small (albeit essential) reason I consider him to be the ultimate man. Beneath the eyes, the scruff, the smile (that smile!) is an actor who, at age 31, is actually making something out of his career.
