Super Dave Osborne
Super Dave is back!

Yet another '80s icon is getting a second chance. Bob Einstein will be reviving his character Super Dave Osborne and will be getting a series of four half-hour shows on SpikeTV during the summer.I used to watch Super Dave back when he was a fixture on the Showtime television show Bizarre starring John Byner (Bob Einstein was a producer) and continued watching when he spun-off into his own program called Super Dave. Einstein is a master of dry humor, which he used to the fullest in his recurring appearances on Arrested Development.
Still, he's kind of old to get back into stunts (both as an actor and a character). To get an idea of how old Bob Einstein is, he was a writer on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour back in the 60's.
However, the concept of an aging stuntman is comedy gold that this new program will hopefully mine. I wonder if his stunt coordinator from way back when, Fuji Hakayito, will make an appearance.
Funnyman Albert Brooks cast on Weeds

One of the funniest guys in show business is coming to TV; and not just voices like he's done on The Simpsons. E! News has reported that Albert Brooks will appear in four episodes of Weeds for in the upcoming season. The Showtime comedy returns with new episodes beginning June 16. Albert Brooks -- whose real name is Albert Einstein (and his brother is comic Bob Einstein, aka Super Dave Osborne) -- has been making people laugh for nearly four decades. I distinctly remember his bits on Love, American Style and his hilarious films on Saturday Night Live circa 1975.
