A Surprise Idol on 'Survivor' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Apr 16th 2010 2:00AM
Could this be the dumbest move ever made on a reality TV show? On tonight's episode of 'Survivor' (Thu., 8PM ET on CBS), the Heroes give an immunity idol to the Villains. No, no, no, no! Not a good idea. Why would you give an idol to the bad guys? And even worse, the idol is handed over to one of the worst bad guys of them all -- Supervillain Russell Hantz.Watch the video after the jump.
James Gets Voted Off 'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains' (VIDEO)

Tonight's challenge on 'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains' (Wed., 8PM ET on CBS) had both tribes playing for individual immunity, as well as both facing tribal council. In the Heroes camp, did you find it annoying when James said that a fat guy and a cripple beat Colby? We're on the fence, even though Colby himself said he hasn't performed up to his full potential.
At any rate, there was a lot of game play and scheming in this episode, with James being voted off because of his knee issues.

Who Will Survive the Double Elimination on 'Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains'?
by Chris Harnick, posted Mar 24th 2010 9:00AM
Not even the NCAA Tournament can keep 'Survivor' down. After a hiatus last week, new episodes of the hit CBS reality series are moving to Wed., 8PM ET to make room for the basketball games on Thursday.
Tonight's episode is the first after a week hiatus. To celebrate the show's return and what is sure to be a big episode -- there's going to be a double elimination! -- CBS has launched virtual postcards featuring the past casts.

What to Watch: February 11
by Kim Potts, posted Feb 11th 2010 6:00AM
'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains' (8PM, CBS) season 20 premiereThey've already done the all-star season, and they've already been in Samoa, but CBS' venerable reality competition calls re-do on both with this season, which pits 'Survivor' "good guys" (and girls!) against the "bad guys" (and girls!) and sends them off to Samoa to see who can get the best of who and, of course, who can emerge as the million dollar winner. Among the players for season 20, where the "Outwit, Outplay, Outlast" slogan has been replaced with "Return, Revenge, Redemption": Rupert Boneham, Colby Donaldson and Candice Woodcock for the Heroes team, and Russell Hantz, "Boston Rob" Mariano and Jerri Manthey for the Villains. Of course, there's no guarantee that the contenders will remain heroes or villains as they duke it out in what is sure to be a particularly tough season ...
CBS makes a surprise choice for the post-Super Bowl spot
by Allison Waldman, posted Dec 21st 2009 10:28AM
One of the most coveted parcels in prime time real estate is the hour after the broadcast of the Super Bowl. In 2010, CBS has the big game on Sunday, February 7, and after the pads pop and the Vince Lombardi trophy is hoisted, the program that the Tiffany network will air is not one of the usual suspects. The slot won't be used to pump up the next edition of Survivor, as many experts guessed. It also won't be used to reinforce the success of sophomore drama The Mentalist, nor will the space be handed over to The Big Bang Theory for a one-hour stretched out sitcom episode. And the network isn't going to pump up a slipping series like CSI, which isn't getting the gaudy numbers it did in the William Peterson days. So, what will they run? Follow me after the jump to find out -- and consider this a SPOILER ALERT.
