TaleSpin

In August, two of my favorite after school cartoons from my middle school days will be coming out on DVD. Darkwing Duck, a sorta spin-off of Duck Tales which focused on an undercover crime-fighting duck who fought a menagerie of villains a la Dick Tracy, is tentatively set for an August 29 release. In addition, Tale Spin, which took some of the characters from The Jungle Book and made them part of a global delivery service led by Baloo the Bear, will also be released in late August, though we don't know what the exact release date of that will be, either. Actually, I'm not sure how much I ever really got into Tale Spin, I think it was just part of the block of shows I watched. I loved Darkwing Duck, however, and always found it to be quite clever.
