Barbara Walters Would Like to Know If Justin Bieber Is a Virgin (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Nov 16th 2011 5:00PM
There are so many puzzling elements to the Justin Bieber paternity scandal. Is he the father? Is Mariah Yeater a liar? Will he be doing a paternity test on 'Maury'? But, in advance of Bieber's interview next week on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC), Barbara Walters has been pondering one question in particular: is Bieber a virgin?

"Do you think he's a virgin?" she asked the Hasselbeck-less panel, causing her fellow-hosts to start chattering over each other. "I think we decided we don't actually care," Whoopi Goldberg said. "It's none of our business" Sherri Sheppard responded. "He's not free to go through puberty on his own ... leave him alone," Joy Behar said.

Taken aback by their response, Barbara reconsidered asking Bieber if he was still in possession of his V-Card. "Then I just won't do it," she joked.

Rosie O'Donnell Remembers Meeting Mariah Carey When She Was 'Little, Little' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 9th 2011 12:00AM
Mariah Carey, 'The Rosie Show'If you were able to look back through your history, there's a chance you had a brush with someone famous, only it happened before they were famous. Rosie O'Donnell encountered a beautiful little girl named Mariah years ago, as she explained on 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN). Even after Mariah Carey blew up on the music scene, O'Donnell didn't make the connection.

It wasn't until someone pointed out that Carey had grown up on a certain street that O'Donnell realized it was the same little girl she used to sing to at the bus stop. It's just kind of crazy to imagine what some of the people you've encountered along the way may have gone on and done with their lives -- and you don't even know you knew them way back when.

Tyra Banks Stages 'America's Next Top Model' With Women of 'The Talk' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 28th 2011 12:30AM
Tyra Banks, 'The Talk'Tyra Banks staged an 'America's Next Top Model' photo shoot on 'The Talk' (Weekdays, Syndicated on CBS), featuring the hostesses as the models. She gave them emotions to express and then outlandish situations in which to do it.

Julie Chen had perhaps more fun than even we expected when she was tasked to show "Lust" with a gorilla in the shoot. She got so into it she climbed up on the back of the guy in the gorilla suit.

You just know she was jealous when she saw that Sara Gilbert, who was emoting "Desire," got to do so with three topless guys with way less fur and much better physiques than the gorilla. Gilbert seemed to enjoy herself more than any of the other women.

Common, 'The Rosie Show'AMC is taking us back even further in time for their latest scripted entry. Set 100 years before 'Mad Men,' 'Hell on Wheels' looks at the building of the transcontinental railroad. But even though it's set so far in the past, series star Common talked on 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN) about how so many of the issues it talks about still resonate today.

"Definitely we still deal with some racial issues," he said of the series. "Along with that, just greed and injustice." He talked about how the construction project tore up the natural landscape, and saw America taking more land away from the Native Americans.

Rosie O'Donnell Talks Homophobia, Bullying With Tracy Morgan (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 25th 2011 12:30AM
Tracy Morgan, 'The Rosie Show'Rosie O'Donnell has been friends with Tracy Morgan a long time. When he appeared on her new talk show, 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN), she defended his character, saying, "I know you're not homophobic, because News Flash! I'm a lesbian."

They were, of course, talking about Morgan's controversial live show in which he was accused of being homophobic for comments he made. I felt hurt because the people who were at my show were hurt, "I don't pride myself on hurting anyone with the mic. That's so easy to do."

Nancy Grace Talks 'DWTS' Elimination Night Nerves, Wardrobe Malfunction (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 21st 2011 12:30AM
Nancy Grace, 'The Rosie Show'Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus took time out of their busy rehearsal schedule for 'Dancing With the Stars' to stop by 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN). Rosie O'Donnell asked about nerves on the show, and especially on elimination night.

Twice Grace has been left in jeopardy until the last moment, but she said the first time it happened was easily the worst. "I almost vomited on him," she said of MacManus. "But he didn't have a shirt on."

She marveled that wardrobe has been putting him in less and less and her in more and more, but O'Donnell said that's understandable after Grace's malfunction. But Grace is still insisting the "nip-slip" never happened.

Chynna Phillips, 'The Rosie Show'Chynna Phillips stopped by 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN) alongside husband William Baldwin to talk about 'Dancing With the Stars' and why he was probably pretty happy she got eliminated so early.

An early front-runner, Phillips found her time on the show cut short after a disastrous tango. Rosie O'Donnell asked if it was just a "brain fart," which Phillips felt summed it up pretty well. She was prepared, but "once I lost my steps, I couldn't recover."

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 18th 2011 12:00AM
Oprah Winfrey, 'The Rosie Show'Rosie O'Donnell learned something unexpected about the one-time queen of daytime television. She discovered that Oprah Winfrey likes to take tequila shots, and even had footage of Oprah teaching her how to take one on 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN).

O'Donnell seemed a bit surprised by the three-step process of properly drinking one down, but was game to try. Unfortunately, she didn't get to the lime part fast enough, and the tequila started to burn.

"What the hell?" she shouted before finally sucking the lime. "There should be a warning: It's gonna burn your throat!"

Gloria Estefan Brings Flan and a Very Unique Table to 'The Rosie Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 12th 2011 1:30AM
Gloria Estefan, 'The Rosie Show'Gloria Estefan stopped by 'The Rosie Show' (Weeknights, 7PM ET on OWN) with a special treat for Rosie O'Donnell. It was both a treat and a challenge. As much as Rosie admitted to loving the Cuban food available at Estefan's restaurants, that appreciation only goes so far.

"They have horrible, disgusting mucus-y flan," she said of the dessert. She clarified, though, that this was her opinion of flan in general.

So, to prove to O'Donnell that her flan was "just fine," Estefan brought a sample with her, served on the back of the man who runs Estefan's company. Even if she didn't like the flan, at least she could cite a one-in-a-million dining experience.

Final tally for Brand's protest? "Capitalism succeeded, my naked body failed."

'The Walking Dead' Live Talk Show is a Go!

by Catherine Lawson, posted Sep 23rd 2011 6:20AM
'The Walking Dead'AMC has announced that it's launching 'Talking Dead,' a live talk show that will air after new episodes of 'The Walking Dead.'

We know, at first the concept seems a little weird. What to expect from a zombie apocalypse spin-off show? 'Watch What Happens Live With the Undead?' Victim of the week? Tips on getting the most out of a human-only diet? How to nail that head shot?

Joel Stillerman, AMC's SVP original programming, production and digital content said that 'Talking Dead' will be "a kind of live water cooler" for 'Walking Dead' fans. "[They] are incredibly engaged with every aspect of the show," he added.

"They tweet, blog, and post comments in very large numbers, and we wanted to give them an opportunity to interact with the show in a way that they don't currently have."

'Talking Dead' will be hosted by 'Walking Dead' über-fan Chris Hardwick, who said "I pretty much begged for this job."

Gwyneth Paltrow Shows Off Rap Skills on 'The Graham Norton Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 20th 2011 5:30AM
Gwyneth Paltrow, 'The Graham Norton Show'Gwyneth Paltrow has long proven herself as a so-called "double threat" in the entertainment industry. She's endeared herself as a singer to a whole new generation with her turn as Holly Holiday on 'Glee,' featuring on several hit tracks for the musical series.

Now, thanks to her turn on 'The Graham Norton Show' (Sat., 10PM ET on BBC America), we can add hardcore ganster rapper to her repertoire.

Graham Norton tried to stump her on '90s hip-hop, but he didn't go very obscure with it. Paltrow immediately identified 'Straight Outta Compton' as the groundbreaking debut album by N.W.A.

More impressively, though, she knew the lyrics to the title track, though she did clarify: "There's one word I can't say." The rest, Norton assured us, could be censored.

Andy Cohen's Guests Think 'The Real Housewives' Should Air on Cinemax (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Jun 17th 2011 8:15AM
Mary McDonaldLast night 'Watch What Happens: Live' (Thu., 11PM ET on BRAVO) host Andy Cohen and his guests dished on the latest escapades of 'The Real Housewives of New York.'

Now, negligees, rose petals, nudity, massages and copious amounts of foam have all become staples of the reality TV romance-setting playbook. Last night 'Housewife' Ramona pulled out all the stops to set the mood for her possibly philandering husband Mario.

Talking about the couple's "sexy time" Cohen asked Mary McDonald ('Million Dollar Decorators') if she thought Mario was hot. Echoing, no doubt, many viewers' sentiments, McDonald said, "I was grossed out. ... I don't really need to see this."

Fellow guest Rocco DiSpirito concurred that 'Housewives' belonged on Cinemax, not Bravo, adding that, "It [was] like the soft-porn channel all of a sudden."
