'Braxton Family Values': Is Tamar Planning to Cheat on her Husband? (VIDEO)
by Catherine Lawson, posted Nov 18th 2011 5:45AM
What on earth is Tamar thinking on this week's 'Braxton Family Values' (Thu., 9PM ET on WE)? Camera crew in tow, she goes into a recording studio and lays it on producer Harvey Mason Jr.: "I was just hoping that you would be willing to have an affair with me." Er, that's not exactly a subtle way of letting her husband Vincent Herbert find out that she's up to no good ...As a clearly embarrassed Mason starts laughing and squirming uncomfortably in his chair she adds, "Not that kind. A musical affair." Phew. Turns out that Tamar just wants Mason for his musical chops. She plans to record an album with him in secret, behind her music producer husband's back.
Mason agrees to do it, and then Tamar delivers the kicker: She needs help financing it. "I don't have no money! I can't be using Vince's money to work on this project behind his back."
Tamar Shocked by Evelyn's Attack About Disrespect on 'Braxton Family Values' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 11th 2011 2:00AM
As the baby of the family, Tamar Braxton is prone to acting a bit spoiled -- and by a bit we obviously mean a lot. Tired of singing back-up to big sister Toni, she stormed out of a discussion about making a family record on the season premiere of 'Braxton Family Values' (Thu., 9PM ET on WE).Tamar has been focusing on putting together a solo release, and is ready to be a star in her own right. But it was when their mother, Evelyn, stepped into the argument that Tamar stormed off, and Evelyn took that as a personal slight against her.
The Braxton Sisters Attempt to Share Chitlins on 'The Talk' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Apr 7th 2011 8:34PM
The Braxton sisters went on 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS) Thursday to promote their new reality show, 'Braxton Family Values,' and they brought a gift for the panel. Unfortunately, that gift was chitlins, which Sharon Osbourne and Holly Robinson Peete did not appreciate. There had been talk on a previous show about how Peete in particular thought chitlins were disgusting and made her gag. Tamar Braxton insisted that they were good, and even tried to give cooking instructions. "You just put a little bit of water in it and let it get hot," she said.
Robinson was having none of it. She took the bag and put it in the faux library, upstairs behind the couch. Then everyone could move on to a less divisive topic, like DUIs.
