J.K. Rowling's revelation wizened wizard/Harry Potter mentor Albus Dumbledore was actually gay rocked the 'Harry Potter' fandom when she announced the news ... four years ago.So when 'Big Brother' contestant Jeff found out yesterday that the Hogwarts headmaster was gay, his shocked, homophobic reaction was surprising. Entertainment Weekly reports that the houseguest noted Dumbledore "doesn't have any gay tendencies" before exclaiming, "He's in school with little kids; you don't want to make that guy gay."
Jeff further dug himself into that giant crater of his by clarifying, "I don't think it's the right thing to have a kids' book, and to have the headmaster that's locked away in this magical land, to be gay. That isn't the right kind of writing to do." Oy.
According to Reality Blurred, this isn't Jeff's first time exhibiting homophobic behavior. During his first 'Big Brother' season, he used gay slurs when talking about some of his housemates.
