Regis Begs to See Taylor Lautner's Abs (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Nov 9th 2011 2:00PM
Regis Philbin's final 'Live' show is slightly over a week away, and his farewell tour has been an epic run of montages, surprise guest appearances, and stripping for Snooki. But the celebration of all things Regis wouldn't have been complete without an awkward, cringe-worthy interview ... and Wednesday's sit-down with 'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner provided just that.

Regis couldn't hide his obsession with Lautner's abs from the get-go, and didn't relent as the interview proceeded. "Would it be too much for me, an older person, to ask you, a virile .... if you would just show me your abs," Regis said. "Oh my god ... what?" Kelly Ripa asked, squirming in her chair.

Martha Stewart's Flirting With Leno Gets to Be a Bit Much for Taylor Lautner (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 3rd 2011 5:30AM
Taylor Lautner & Martha Stewart, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'When Taylor Lautner chose to stick around 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) for Martha Stewart's interview, he couldn't have anticipated the sexual tension that would soon be filling the air.

Stewart says her favorite time to entertain guests is in the morning, so when Jay Leno asked her about that, she immediately offered to make him breakfast in bed. "Will you be there?" he hinted.

Later, when asking if Lautner was too young for Stewart, she insisted that he was. "Jay, I like men like you," she said, at which point Lautner got up and said, "I'm gonna give you guys some room."

Taylor Lautner Tells Letterman About Knocking Out His Co-Star (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 22nd 2011 3:30AM
Taylor Lautner, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Taylor Lautner had mixed feelings about a fight scene he filmed. On 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS) he went into excruciating detail about the filming of one particular uppercut. It was Lautner vs. a 6'5" Russian actor, so there was a definite size disparity.

When the scene wasn't playing believably enough, the stunt coordinator suggested Lautner extend more and the other actor stick his chin out more. That's a recipe for a great and believable shot.

And it certainly was believable, because it was absolutely real. Lautner completely knocked the other actor out, and even did some damage to the guy's mouth. In other words, it was a great take!

Robert Pattinson Celebrates 'MTV Movie Award' Win by Kissing Taylor Lautner (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 6th 2011 3:45AM
Last year, when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took home the popcorn bucket for Best Kiss, they recreated the kiss on stage. It's kind of a tradition for the award. But when they repeated the win this year on the '2011 MTV Movie Awards' (Sun., 9PM ET on MTV), Pattinson had a different idea.

"I feel bad, 'cause I don't feel like kissing you," Pattinson told Stewart upon accepting the award.

"I think maybe we should finally go for it," Stewart said, but Pattinson was adamant.

"There's someone else in the audience that I just think will appreciate it a little better," Pattinson said before dashing off-stage and planting a big kiss on Taylor Lautner.

Shocked He Lives With His Parents, Kimmel Offers to Let Taylor Lautner Move In (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 25th 2011 4:59AM
Taylor Lautner, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'Jimmy Kimmel was absolutely stunned on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) when Taylor Lautner admitted that he still lives at home with his parents. Sure he's only 19-years old, but you'd think all that 'Twilight' money and success would have had him moving out as soon as he could.

He did indicate that he thinks it's time and has even begun the process of looking, but Kimmel seemed to think the urgency of the situation couldn't wait for even that. "These are the golden years right here," he told Lautner. "It's time for you to get out of that house and get into something."

Kimmel then offered to let Lautner stay with him where he could keep an eye on what's going on. "You could just use the hot tub and I'll just watch you and the girls go by," he explained. Who wouldn't want a sweet pad with a built-in creepy uncle ogling your girlfriends?

Taylor Lautner Describes Reactions from International Twi-Hards (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Jul 2nd 2010 5:46AM
Taylor Lautner Describes International Twi-HardsIt appears that Twi-hards react differently to Robert Pattinson & co. depending on their nationality, Taylor Lautner explained on 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

"In Japan, they're very sensitive," said Lautner. "They cry a lot." Comforting them with a touch on the shoulder only makes things worse: Weeping turns to bawling, and then fainting.

"In Brazil, they're very aggressive and physical ... They broke down the barricades," he said. "They literally would grab our legs and our arms and we had to walk with them on top of us to the car."

During one press junket, security had to call in the National Guard to fend off 2,000 fans who'd stormed the hotel lobby.

'Twilight' Guy to Play Stretch Armstrong on the Big Screen

by Bob Sassone, posted Feb 8th 2010 2:29PM
I had a Stretch Armstrong toy when I was a kid. Like most boys I tried to find some way to break it. Sure, the ads said you could stretch and stretch and stretch the guy, but could you really stretch him really far and not snap off an arm or a leg? If I remember correctly he was pretty resilient. We'll see what they do on the big screen, because they're making a movie out of the toy (and I'm sure they'll be a toy for the movie, so it all comes full circle), and Taylor Lautner is going to play Stretch.

In this ad, the kids each take an end of Stretch Armstrong and stretch him practically across the room. I know that Lautner is not a doll he's a grown human being, but I think it would be funny if they included a scene like this in the movie. Sort of a wink and a nod to parents in the audience who remember the toy.

Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock Top 2010 People's Choice Awards Winners

by AOL TV Staff, posted Jan 7th 2010 2:16AM
Sandra Bullock, People's Choice Awards 2010It was a low-key night for the 2010 People's Choice Awards, the 36th annual gala celebrating fan favorites in movies, TV and music. Nothing particularly amazing or outlandish happened, and most of the stars donned conventional gowns, including host Queen Latifah, who looks fabulous these days. She started the show off with a musical medley, including Susan Boyle's hit 'I Dreamed a Dream,' then launched into the presentations.

We didn't see all of the awards being presented, including Favorite Talk Show Host, won by Ellen DeGeneres. But, of course, she had a few words to say about it. "Oprah, I love you, and I'm sorry your show got canceled." Then she added something about winning eleven times, "one for each of Sandra Bullock's toes." Maybe that was a private joke between the two?

What's Hot on Inside Movies: Kooky Christmas Capers and More

by Chris Jordan, posted Dec 18th 2009 7:00PM
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over on Moviefone's Inside Movies.

That's because the busy elves over there have re-imagined classic Hollywood movie posters as inappropriate holiday movies. Hey, you looking at the Christmas-themed movie poster for 'Taxi Driver'? Then we have Christmas classics re-imagined as action flicks. Take a gander at Rambo as Scrooge.

Also on Inside Movies, Ivan Reitman confirms that there will be a Ghostbusters 3 and that Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver are on board -- but not in a way you'd might expect.

While hosting 'Saturday Night Live,' 'New Moon' star Taylor Lautner acted out a fantasy in which he defended the honor of rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift , whose acceptance speech at last summer's MTV Video Music Awards was famously interrupted by Kanye West.

"I was actually at the VMAs the night she won the award for Best Video and Kayne West interrupted her speech. What I really wanted to do that night was this," Lautner said during his opening monologue.

Review: Saturday Night Live - Taylor Lautner/Bon Jovi

by Annie Wu, posted Dec 13th 2009 12:58PM

(S35E09) Hello, Twilight fans. I know you're only here because of your screaming hearts, thudding so hard that every beat is a case for internal bruising. I'm going to be upfront: I don't like Twilight. I tried reading it before it was a "thing" because my friends recommended it to me and I found myself struggling to get through it because, well, even then I knew it was embarrassing. I also watched the film, which I thought was very funny, though I realize that was probably not the intended effect.

That said, I thought Taylor Lautner did a great job. See? I'm not just swimming in haterade. Obviously, I wasn't prepared to like him, but just like Blake Lively from last week, Lautner delivered a strong performance. He seemed really comfortable throughout the entire episode and was surprisingly natural, more natural than some of the actual cast members at some points, at least in terms of blatantly looking at cue cards.

And thanks for keeping your shirt on for all 90 minutes, Sharkboy.
