'Bachelorette' Ali Fedotowsky Splits from Fiance
by Catherine Lawson, posted Nov 22nd 2011 8:56AM
Brace yourselves, 'Bachelorette' fans. Yet another 'Bachelor(ette)' romance has bitten the dust: Ali Fedotowsky and fiancé Roberto Martinez are not getting married after all. We know, it's a shock. There we were, thinking that the wedding had merely been put on hold several times because of inconvenient knee surgery, pre-nup dieting, the fact that they barely knew each other ...The couple's rep confirmed the split, telling 'Life & Style' magazine, "Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship. As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple's privacy."
Only last month -- after the wedding was delayed (again) -- Ali denied the relationship was over, telling 'People,' "We're still engaged, we're still living together. We just don't feel the need to walk down the aisle right now."
Kirsten Dunst Admits She's a 'Bachelor' Addict on 'Late Night' (VIDEO)
by Laura Prudom, posted Nov 4th 2011 9:30AM
Even celebrities aren't immune to the siren song of trashy reality TV. When actress Kirsten Dunst paid a visit to 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC), the pair soon got caught up in their mutual love of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette.'"I like 'The Bachelor' better because the girls go so crazy over this dude they don't know, and they're so in love with him and dying for these roses," Dunst laughed. "Like, you haven't even met the guy for five minutes and you're already ready to rip this girl's hair out!"
Fallon admitted that his favorite 'Bachelorette' season was Ali Fedotowsky's, thanks in large part to the weirdness of Kasey Kahl, the kooky suitor who promised to "guard and protect" Fedotowsky's heart. Fallon then launched into an uncanny impression of the contestant, leaving both of them in hysterics. You've officially made it, Kasey!
Who Took Home the Money on the 'Bachelor Pad' Season Finale?
by Catherine Lawson, posted Sep 13th 2011 7:00AM
So, it was the season finale at last on 'Bachelor Pad' last night. Time to pack away the thong bikinis and swim trunks as one lucky couple was awarded the $250,000 grand prize. For the others, it was rejection time. (Again.)And the winners are: Holly Durst and Michael Stagliano. Yes, the on-again off-again couple walked away with the win despite the fact that Holly has already gotten engaged to housemate Blake Julian after a whirlwind romance.
That's right, she's engaged to Blake, and if you didn't already know that before the finale then you weren't alone. Michael didn't know either.
'Bachelor Pad': Top 5 Awkward Moments in the Season Finale
by Laura Prudom, posted Sep 13th 2011 5:00AM
Another tear-stained season of 'Bachelor Pad' has come to a close, filled with more fights, more feuds, and more than a few revelations (even though many of them were ruined by the media long before the episode actually aired).Jake and Vienna, Vienna and Kasey, Melissa and Blake, Blake and Holly, Holly and Michael, Erica and gavel -- it's hard to keep track, but by gum, I tried!
Summer is most certainly over and we have blah-blah-Ben to "look forward to" as our next 'Bachelor,' so let's savor the trashy triumph of 'BP' while we still can and look back at the top five most awkward moments from the 'Bachelor Pad' season finale.
'Bachelor Pad' - Top 5 Awkward Moments in Episode 2
by Laura Prudom, posted Aug 16th 2011 4:15PM
If you thought last week's 'Bachelor Pad' was knee-deep in awkwardness, the first 10 minutes of this week's episode probably realigned your world view quite a bit.Nothing says ego-boost like being pelted with paint-filled eggs, as poor Erica quickly discovered (though, to be fair, I kind of want to throw eggs at her every time I see her in that tiara, too).
Still, there was enough double-crossing, manipulation and awkward making out to keep everyone occupied, and a twist in the game gave someone a second chance at survival.
Read on for our Top 5 awkward moments, and two that were "aww"-worthy.
Why Did 'Bachelorette' Ali Fedotowsky Really Postpone Her Wedding?
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 11th 2011 12:30PM
Last week, former 'Bachelorette' Ali Fedotowsky confessed to People magazine that she and fiance Roberto Martinez had postponed their wedding not because of any relationship drama, but because she was still recovering after undergoing surgery for a femur injury. Now, Us Weekly is reporting that the real reason the couple didn't get hitched is related to the surgery -- but a tad more vain. According to Us, Fedotowsky wants to get back in shape before donning her white dress. An insider told the magazine, "Since her knee surgery in July, she has not been able to work out. She would like to be back in shape for the big day."
Fair enough! What woman doesn't want to look picture-perfect on her wedding day?
Life & Style EXCLUSIVE: 'Bachelorette' Ashley & JP Pick Out Wedding Bands
by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 10th 2011 4:30PM
We realize that the siren song better known as 'Bachelor Pad' has probably already erased any memory of this season's 'Bachelorette' and the man she chose to marry ... but that doesn't mean Ashley and JP don't still want headlines. The new issue of Life & Style Weekly has the exclusive scoop that Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum have already picked out their wedding rings, just a little over a week after the 'Bachelorette' finale.
"They're so excited to get married that they didn't want to wait on this detail," an insider tells Life & Style, confirming, "They already selected their Neil Lane wedding bands."
Despite the fact that the 'Bachelorette' couple isn't planning to tie the knot until 2012, they visited the Manhattan outpost of Neil Lane, jeweler to the stars, in early August.
Keep reading for more details on the wedding bands, and to find out what host Chris Harrison is planning for their wedding present ...
'Bachelorette' Ashley Hebert's Sister Chrystie Says She Was Wrong About J.P.
by Catherine Lawson, posted Aug 4th 2011 8:00AM
One of the more memorable parts of this week's 'Bachelorette' season finale was when prospective husband J.P. Rosenbaum faced a tough grilling from Ashley Hebert's family.Especially big sister Chrystie Corns, who even made Ashley cry with her assessment that J.P. is, well, a bit boring and definitely not a good match for her.
Now, in an extraordinary about-face -- brought on by a really awkward family reunion, perhaps? -- 'Extreme Couponing' alum Chrystie says she's had a change of heart.
She's even gone so far as to label J.P. her sister's "knight in shining armor."
'Bachelorette' Ali Fedotowsky Puts Wedding on Hold
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 3rd 2011 3:15PM
'Bachelorette' Ali Fedotowsky won't be getting hitched as soon as she had planned. The reality star told People magazine that she's postponing her wedding to Roberto Martinez -- but not because of relationship drama. The former Facebook employee is simply waiting until she doesn't have to hobble down the aisle on crutches -- she's waiting until she's fully healed after a July surgery related to an injury to her femur.
"We had a date set, and that date has now passed," the reality star told People. "The decision to postpone [the wedding] was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears ... But I want to walk down the aisle. I don't want to limp down the aisle."
Debt Ceiling Debate and 'Bachelorette' Finale Drive Kathie Lee and Hoda to Drink Cough Syrup (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Aug 2nd 2011 1:45PM
It's only Tuesday, but it's already been a long week for Kathie Lee Gifford. First, there was the debt ceiling standoff in Congress, which Jay Leno joked had driven Gifford and Hoda Kotb to chug cough syrup. Gifford and Kotb obliged on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), showing Leno's monologue clip and sipping on some syrup. And then 'The Bachelorette' finale just made everything worse. An excited Kotb introduced a clip of Moday's proposal on 'The Bachelorette' while Gifford rolled her eyes and mugged, doing a remarkable impression of Kristen Wiig's impression of her. Gifford narrated over the proposal, "Oh shut up!" The source of Gifford's disgust was that the Bachelorette in question allowed both guys to propose, even though she had made her choice already.
'The Bachelorette': Five Things That Got Us Through This Season
by Lincee Ray, posted Aug 2nd 2011 9:45AM
The season finale has come and gone. Ashley is happy with JP, Chris Harrison is still utterly cool and Groban is probably sitting in a dinghy with a lone cameraman on the outskirts of Fiji wondering how it all went wrong. It's been a tough season of 'The Bachelorette,' but we prevailed thanks to the following top five things that got us through this season:1. Drinking games
Anyone who decided to take a shot when Ashley mentioned "Bentley," "amazing" or "journey" will probably be sloshed until next Monday when they start a new drinking game during 'Bachelor Pad.'
Who Did Ashley Hebert Choose on 'The Bachelorette' Finale?
by Catherine Lawson, posted Aug 2nd 2011 4:20AM
It's been a tough old season for Ashley Hebert. Usually it's 'The Bachelorette' who turns men down, but over the last few weeks we've seen a record number of suitors choose to walk away from her and the show. However, on last night's Season 7 finale Ashley finally got that romantic ending she'd been looking for.
On a beach in Fiji she tearfully accepted a proposal of marriage from the last man
The 34-year-old construction manager from Roslyn, New York faced a tough grilling from her family and beat out Ben Flajnik to win Ashley's heart in the end.
But did Ashley find true love? Or was it all rigged for the viewers' benefit?
'The Bachelorette': From Three Guys to Four to the Final Two (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 26th 2011 12:44AM
This week, an eliminated bachelor flew to Fiji to try and get another chance with Ashley Hebert on 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC), and it wasn't Bentley. It wasn't Ames either, though we suspect that's because he still may not have fully registered that he was eliminated last week.!!SPOILER ALERT!!
Apparently, Ryan thought getting eliminated in the middle of a date may indicate a hasty decision on Ashley's part, so he came back and gave Ashley a second chance to consider him.
"I don't know if after I left if you sat back and you regretted anything, if you thought ... maybe we should have had more of a chance," he told her. "If that's in your mind at all, then I want to spend more time with you."
'The Bachelorette': Top 5 Moments We'd Forgo
by Lincee Ray, posted Jul 26th 2011 12:05AM
It's fantasy date week people! A time where ABC drops our resident 'Bachelorette' and her remaining suitors in the middle of paradise, provides endless amounts of alcohol and crosses their fingers that the executives won't pull the plug when things get extra saucy during primetime television. And with the fantasy date comes the infamous forgo card granting Ashley and her beau the opportunity to stay as a couple in a super posh suite with radioactive glowing blue pool water.
The most surprising moment was when Greek Groban decided to forgo the forgo card date even before the forgo was presented. The other shocking moment was when House Speaker John Boehner and President Obama made their cases on how to solve the debt crisis in the middle of Greek Groban's date. OPA!
Other than those two dramatic instances, the episode was predictable and a touch boring. Therefore, I give you:

'The Bachelorette' Season 7, Episode 8 Recap
by Laura Prudom, posted Jul 19th 2011 7:00AM
['The Bachelorette' - 'Season 7, Episode 8']Thanks to the sad lack of mounted animal carcasses or a secret weapons cache in anyone's basement, this year's 'Bachelorette' hometown dates were, I'm sorry to report, a complete snoozefest.
Not that I don't find JP's roller disco antics somewhat quaint, in a "we can smell the cheese from here," kind of way -- but when the evening's most eventful moments were a tie between JP falling over and every single relative Constantine has bursting through the door to accost Ashley, there may be a spark missing (sorry, Ames).
Excuse me while I go and check what my water heater is doing ...
